What travellers are saying
- LancPAmomLansdale, PA251 contributionsI recommend this park for people with a state parks pass ($5 parking without) who want short walks. It has play and picnic areas, as well as a nature center. It connects to the PATH trail for biking. For longer walks and better views, I recommend Arabia Mountain with free parking. The Outcrop Trail is interesting, through the woods, past some water, and with a few views of the outcrop. It’s an easy walk with a few ups and downs, is well-marked with red diamonds and has markers to share information about plants, animals, and the ecosystem.
I also went on the PATH trail, which is wide, paved, and has mile markers with elevation every 0.1 mile. The section from the park dead ends at 1.3 miles. Large distances are unshaded and there are hills and sharp twists so be prepared. I enjoyed how the concrete path enabled me to see insects, lizards, moths, and butterflies I might have missed on a forest trail. At the beginning, there’s a covered bridge over a road and at the end, there are two bridges over water in the woods.Written August 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I brought my middle school kids and they were too old for most of the activities. Perfect for kids under 10. There isn’t an actual pumpkin patch to ride into and pick.Written October 16, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It goes through the woods and crosses a power line. Some swampy parts have bridges and walkways. Peaceful. bicycles, walkers and runners on the trail. Stay to the right. Pass on the left.Written January 10, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Athens_Traveller_M40Athens, Greece125 contributionsLast April (2016), my wife Molly and I paid a visit to Cottle Stawberries Farm! They have retail outlets and road-side stands selling strawberries in quart and gallon containers. They grow several varieties of strawberries in order to meet the needs of the market. These varieties include Camerosa, Chandler, Sweet Charlie, and Jubilee.
We tasted the strawberries and trust me they were YUMMY!Written May 26, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
