The monument is a 3 stage structure. The 3 step base supports a square plinth engraved with the names of the fallen, while the plinth is surmounted by a square shaped obelisk. An interesting feature of the obelisk is the surface finish, which is made to look rustication brick. The memorial can be located at the junction of Benhar Road and High Street, in front of the library, and worth a detour if you’re passing Shotts.Written July 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
