Went to see the trolls and the botanical garden. It was a great day the trolls are great and I enjoyed the treasure map and the secret spot to find deep off the trail. I love how all the flowers and plants are labeled so I could save them in my phone. Busy but not overcrowded. Lots of activities for kids. Grabbed a quick bite to eat at the cafe.

My wife and I visited here one afternoon to check it out. It sets on a very beautiful piece of property. It is like a museum in multiple buildings. If you are looking for interactive this is not it. You are walking around from building to building looking at pieces of history. Not good on a bad weather day. For us it was sunny and 70. That made it a great experience. It was very informative and gave us some history of the area and the railroad.
    It is worth the visit.

After reading a few reviews on here, my husband and I visited this during our trip to boothbay harbor!

Without maps directions I’m not sure we would have found it it’s defiantly off the beaten path! However, it is well worth the trip to find! Very nicely marked trails and beautiful views!

All Trails rate the West loop as easy, but the trail should be rated moderate. Roots and rocks at ever step. Nice views from the bridge.

Lots of great local products. This is a good sized Farmers Market with a good variety. We bought jam, locally roasted coffee, Asian cooking sauce and were tempted by lots more!

As we have done in the past, we recently walked along Shore Road and stopped at this beautiful chapel by the sea. The chapel is open daily and donations are welcome.

I've gone to the Kerr Jones gallery each of the past three years and it just keeps getting better. A few years ago I bought an incredibly beautiful Moroccan rug. Last year it was a one of a kind cherry bowl. This year a print, Oystercatcher Trio (see below) which really belongs in a museum. Just gorgeous. I think they're making a name for themselves and so attracting more and more really talented Maine artists.

This was a nice little stop while we were in the area. Some cute themed holes. Nothing too elaborate. I appreciated the ice cream on site. There's a shell museum set up in a covered bridge. That was worth a little walk through. The arcade didn't have too much. Everything is cash only. They did have an ATM in the shell museum.

Boothbay Country Club is a touch of class in the middle of rustic Maine. I have been playing here for over 30 years and have witness, first hand, its evolution. What the designers have done with this piece of property is truly special. The course is immaculate and it's challenging for players of all skill levels. I look forward to coming back next year.

Wonderful, relaxing facial with Sarah! My friend and I were vacationing here and had facials. Sarah also did a hand massage and I opted for a peppermint foot wrap. I would recommend Sea Glass Spa.
