What travellers are saying
- Have Camera, Will TravelSouth Bend, IN3,808 contributionsI was looking forward to this stop on our road trip for months. Of course, it had to be on a very rainy evening, so our amazing photo stop turned dreary. It was still an excellent stop. We wandered up the trail a ways to get the lighthouse with the cliff below. We also watched a cruise ship sail past, which added an interesting element to some of the pictures. Hopefully your weather is a lot nicer than ours.Written November 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CapeCodder49Cape Cod, MA56 contributionsGreat views from all around the park. Well worth the visit! If you have a dog they have a great trail system and an off leash area.Written November 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Colin M16 contributionsReally beautiful park and a great place to enjoy the rocky cost of Maine . There are a lot of trails and Areas to bring Lunch. The only negative was the admission fee compared to other parksWritten June 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gail M4 contributionsNever been here even though I live only an hour away. What a perfect beach. My only criticism is that restrooms should be kept open throughout the fall.Written October 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LovesPhotoOpsHoover, AL1,224 contributionsTo see the Cape Elizabeth lighthouses you must continue past the entrance of Two Lights State Park all the way to the dead end of Two Lights Road. There is a small free parking lot at Dyer Cove which has a tiny privately-owned beach that allows visitors to walk around (see @DyerCoveCapeElizabeth on Facebook). You can see the top of the eastern Cape Elizabeth lighthouse from here. The beach is very pretty and you can walk up onto the rocks of Dyer Point and see the open ocean. If you want a closer look at the lighthouse and its sister western lighthouse (which no longer has a light), you can drive up into the neighborhood and see them from the streets without disturbing the privacy of the people living there; take a quick photo and move on.Written June 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephanie-L1111Queen Creek, AZ196 contributionsEven in it's current state, you can tell this was a significant home in it's day. Too bad it could not be restored.Written April 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- aalaneIndiana17 contributionsThis was a very good exhibit. Great phots and history of Fort Williams and Cape Elizabeth. Volunteers were excellent in talking about the photos and the history.Written October 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NHjoSaco, ME15,391 contributionsThe pumpkin season was in full swing when we went to the Jordan Farm. The pumpkin patch had a few interesting 'stuffed' characters -- a farmer sitting in a chair and a fireman. They had a huge variety of pumpkins, squashes, and apples. They even had fresh corn and tomatoes that are not normally seen this late in the season.Written October 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kraig MAnnapolis, MD1,142 contributionsGreat hike or bike. Plenty of parking at access point, nice walk amongst the trees. Plenty of wildlife. Cool shade abounds.Written July 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NHjoSaco, ME15,391 contributionsI've not been to the actual farm, but I've bought their fruit and vegetables at the Scarborough Farmers Market a few times, which is held every Sunday. Their strawberries are wonderful, as are their lettuces, cukes, and tomatoes. They're my favorite vendor at the market.Written July 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NHjoSaco, ME15,391 contributionsKettle Cove State Park is small compared to Crescent Beach State Park, which is just around the bend and visible from Kettle Cove. It has a small beach, a grassy area with a few picnic tables, nice views, and a tidal pool that little kids love. There are also a few trails from the park through the woods. We went right after Labor Day Weekend and it was very quiet, with only a few locals and some fishermen.Written September 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
