Beautiful to trail to walk on. Anytime of year. Along trail there are benches to sit on. Not much parking though.

This is one of the most amazing beaches I have ever been too. At sunrise the beach is endless, but by noon, there is barely any sand. It is truly spectacular. There is a wave side and a calm side, as well as stunning waters overall. I recommend getting their at sunrise for stunning views. I went in August 2020.

A fun place to visit for the afternoon. You can visit some of the local shops and stop at a couple local bars for a light lunch or some good sightseeing

I have seen two shows here in the last two years and both performances were fantastic. The most recent show that I saw with my fiancé was the Nutty Professor and I was amazed at the talent and production. We had great seats but I think the room would provide a great view of the stage from any seat. There is a nice bar and you can take drinks into the show. There is also an outdoor bar for intermission. The seats were fairly comfortable and they have the parking figured out pretty well. I highly recommend!

It was raining the morning of our visit so we started inside the museum to view the interesting exhibits. I especially enjoyed the exhibit about Henry Strater. The rain stopped in time for us to enjoy a stroll through the outside exhibits in a beautifully landscaped setting with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The location is a prime location with water frontage.

The Ogunquit River was near low tide when we were there on New Year's Eve Day. Two fishermen were taking advantage of the abnormal 50-degree weather and hopefully catching some fish. The river is always interesting to see during any time of year because of the low and high tides and the way it meanders under the footbridge before joining the Atlantic at Ogunquit Beach.

Even though it was New Year's Eve Day, there were still plenty of tourists milling around, especially with the abnormal 50-degree temperature. The sublime Ogunquit Memorial Library was so tastefully decorated witih a few wreathes on its facade and some white lights on its front lampost signage that we had to stop and take a few photos.

This was our FAVORITE spot in Ogunquit! Great food, a fantastic espresso martini, great music. We were in Ogunquit for 3 nights and each night we ended up there. Fantastic!

Christmas magic is always on high alert in this little destination shop. We have made it a "must stop here" experience for a dozen years during our annual sojourn. Thanks to Rusty for his warm welcome and accommodating nature. Times are stressful and hopefully help, in the form of staff, is just around the corner. We will return next year to purchase more memories for ourselves and family members. (Really appreciate your kindness!)

This iconic drawbridge is the only wooden double-leaf draw footbridge left in the country and is an iconic symbol of Ogunquit's Perkins Cove. It's due for a major facelift in 2023.

This was our first visit to Maine with our 12 year-old dog - a 17 hour car trip which involved a whole lot of really good behavior in not great situations on her part so we wanted to give her a break - my husband found this dog park on the web and we and she were so happy we found it! Lovely park, very well maintained, super friendly people who kept an eye on their dogs.

This place truly is a gift - if you're visiting the area and have your dog with you, go - your dog will not be disappointed!

When you tire of the beach, take a step back in time by visiting the Ogunquit Heritage Museum, just a short walk off Shore Road. The museum is located in a house built in 1780 and offers different displays including items used by lobster men, changing exhibits about people from Ogunquit in a restored house with original wide board floors and plaster walls.

Last time we went to this antique shop was nine years ago. We felt that it has managed to maintain about the same level of merchandise - still lots to look at and interesting items to buy. Better than most shops we visited in the area. Convenient parking too which is important in Ogunquit.
