Wonderful beach with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The beach has several paved paths to help with accessibility for better views of the "Big Red" lighthouse and watch the boats go out onto the lake. The is a concession stand and multiple restrooms. Great place to spend a couple of hours as you look at the lake.

Reasonable prices and lovely grounds. Staff enjoy their work and the windmill is worth seeing. Easy free parking and no trouble getting to downtown.

Went here on a family vacation, which included a 4-year and a 14-year old. There was enough to keep everyone entertained - and we had to make sure the kids didn't sneak a cute bunny out in their pocket. They loved the petting zoo. And the swings - especially when the sprinkler was on. Many different activities for all ages and a nice food court too. All of the employees were very nice and helpful. We all enjoyed our visit.

The hike through the forest was peaceful and not overly strenuous. The first view of the lake as you walk out of the woods makes this hike worth every effort. The only reason it doesn't get five stars from me is that the $11.00 entry fee is fairly steep for just trail access. I'd still visit again.

A visit to the Holland Farmers Market was the #1 thing on my list for this trip and it didn't disappoint. I was able to sample some of the local fare, picked up two houseplants for my office, some cocktail mixes as holiday gifts and generally enjoyed a crisp Saturday morning in October.
Make sure you grab a wagon - I ended up purchasing a tote bag from the convention center to hold all of my finds! Clean restrooms are available inside the convention center, too.

Tunnel park in Holland is awesome. It's right by Lake Michigan, so you get to see amazing views of the water and sandy beach. The big tunnel to the beach is cool to walk through, and there are lots of spots of picnics and playing. There are dunes to climb and super place for wedding photography. It is an enjoyable place for families or anyone who love beaches. I totally recommend to visit this with kids or friends field trips.

We were in Holland for the tulip festival and while here decided to drop into this place. Super friendly staff, exhibits inside and outside the building plus the raptor center was pretty neat! I loved reading all the raptors stories of their life, how they ended up here but still sad since they can never be wild and free. Also nice to know they can live and survive here. Nice big wide trails, food truck in the parking lot and lots of places to rest along the trails. Sadly it started pouring rain while we were here so didn't stay too long. Huge parking lot and bathrooms.

Went blueberry picking with my daughter. This place is absolutely amazing. The blueberries were the best. I can't wait to go again next July.

I hate steps, but there are some decent views from the top. Norhing too spectacular. There are some easy hiking trials in the woods on the dunes. The trails are well marked once you are off the wooden walkway. It maybe took us an hour to do the big loop. Minimal parking. We started at Holland State Park and walked 20 minutes there. There is a free museum about the pump house for a quick stop on the way there or back with a water bottle refill. The entrance is under the wood structure next to the small eatery.

We really enjoyed this spot during our pilgrimage to the tulip festival! They have some really beautiful flowers and it is a site to be seen with all of the different varieties. Once you get into the shop, you can buy your favorite tulip bulbs and get souvenirs regarding tulips and wooden shoes.

I felt the price of nearly $100 for a family of four was excessive. That said, I paid it and they are striking the iron while it is hot!

We were in this area during the Tulip Festival. Unfortunately, because of an unusual heat wave the week before our arrival, some of the tulips were over, but that is ok. No one can entirely predict the weather. We still enjoyed some beautiful tulips and we walked all along the path by the water on a relaxing, lovely Sunday afternoon.
