    Terrific outdoor public pool
    We were visiting St.Louis and our hotel didn’t have a pool so I did some research for my 3 yr old. She is just learning to swim. This pool was perfect for her, though it would be good for anybody. The large pool is huge with two diving boards and a water slide, but is shallow enough at one end that she could stand up. It also has a large kiddie pool with a kiddie water slide that she loved. Reasonably priced and allows non residents, which isn’t the case with all the public pools in St. Louis.

    Interesting bit of history...
    This building was constructed as the HQ of a leading womans' magazine in 1904, in time for the Worlds Fair and the first modern era Olympics. A beautiful building that serves as the township main office. Since it is a public building you are welcome to go walk around and see the beautiful iron works.

    Great Escape Room Experience
    Our group of 8, ranging in age from mid-50s to late teens, had a great time with the Ovalish Office. The challenges provided a nice mix of opportunities to work both together and individually - there was plenty to do to keep us busy for nearly the entire hour, but not so much that we couldn't get it solved in time! And it is in a cool space, as an added bonus.

    Not your average massage. :)
    An incredible experience of relaxation, stress release, and surprising comfort! Go with a tank top and shorts or stretchy pants. You keep your clothes on but can take your bra off (which I recommend). We got the hour session and I’m so glad. You lounge and start with your feet in hot water. Then you get massaged on your face, scalp, shoulders, arms, hands, feet and legs. Afterwards they do a bit of light pressure point work on your feet. There’s some pinching, massaging, smacking involved but when you’re done you feel like a new person. Go! It’s definitely worth your time. And only 35$!

    Teen fun experience
    Fun and different birthday party for my 16 year olds and her friends. Everything was easy to do. Reservation was online (even had to reschedule due to friends’ schedules and that was also easy). We were able to get a playlist together which was queued up and ready to go when we got there. The Shirley temples were a big hit. Staff was great to help explain the system and get everything going for us.

    Take a trip on Memory Lane
    Last week we went to St. Louis just to get away for a day. Our first stop after lunch at Seamus McDaniels was Vintage Vinyl. When you go in it is like a tour of all music, in what we used to call record albums. They also have some CD's but vinyl is king. Keep in mind this is on the Delmar Loop and there are sights everywhere.

    As we started looking through the arrange vinyl it brought back so many memories of the music of our past. My regret, looking at the albums I once had but donated to Goodwill before our last move. Now don't get me wrong, very few of my old albums we found were not bringing top dollar, but we did see some that were really out of price range,

    Looking for something to do and have time to spend a few hours (or less) head to the Delmar Loop and Vintage Vinyl. In addition to Vintage Vinyl there are great places to eat and just walk up and down the street, it is worth it.
