Apart from a small issue in advance, this experience was much better! When we booked weeks ahead we entered our weight. On the day of the flight we got a call from 5 star asking for our weight again. unfortunately, we were already in Vegas with no access to scales and couldn't remember (in the UK we use Stone but they wanted it in kg) You get weighed on arrival at the base so it was annoying to be pestered in advance with no way to give them an answer. We just had to guess as best we could and it wasn't an issue on arrival anyway!
Other than that we had a good experience. we were picked up at our Hotel and it was a short ride to the base (near Harry Reid Airport) we were checked in quickly and told to put all belongings (apart from phones) into the free lockers available.
It was a short wait until we were called for the safety brief and before we knew it we were in the tarmac waiting to board. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and the process ran very smoothly.
The fight is short (8-10 mins) you fly from the base all the way up the strip, past The Strat to Fremont Street and back again so was perfect for our 4 year old. you could hear the pilot clearly through the headset and even though we were in the back we still had great views due to the big windows. Great breakfast stop, super efficient with timing all of our stops, awesome lunch at guano point and fantastic tour guide / comedian with Ian and Rob was a great driver. Can't recommend this tour company enough. They are special and will make your trip special.

Views are fantastic and the information given is superb. Staff really friendly past the guest services. We had a problem in 2022 and the other day I’m pretty certain it was the same woman who was just rude and not helpful what so ever.

The guide was very knowledgable while also keeping things interesting with comedic elements. Tour bus was comfortable and plenty of bottled water was provided free of charge on the bus. We stopped by the Welcome to Las Vegas sign first, then the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial bridge then the Hoover Dam Visitor Centre. We were able to explore the Hoover Dam itself and the depths of its power plant through a facilitated tour with plenty of time to spare for the gift shop! Oh yeah, and lunch was included! Our tour guide, Sarah, was excellent. She was attentive, clear, and ensured everyone had the information they needed. She repeated important details - like directions and return times - multiple times to make sure everything was understood. Kenny, our driver, did an outstanding job, providing a smooth and comfortable ride throughout the day.
The itinerary was well-structured, allowing ample time for sightseeing, hiking, and breaks, including a lunch break. The balance between activities and pauses was perfect, and we never felt rushed.
The bus was spacious and very comfortable, which I greatly preferred over a smaller vehicle like a minivan. Even with a larger group, the experience was pleasant, and Sarah was attentive to everyone’s needs.
The food options were impressive, much better than what I’ve experienced with other tours. We were provided with a granola bar in the early morning, a delicious lunch, and unlimited snacks and water throughout the day. The free water was a particularly thoughtful touch.
The sightseeing and hike through the canyon were absolutely stunning. We took plenty of photos and never felt rushed. It’s worth noting that the Navajo guide accompanying us didn’t provide much commentary, but they were helpful with guiding us through the hike and assisting with photos.
Some reviews mentioned that not enough information was provided during the tour about the places we visited. While this is partially true, I personally appreciated the quieter bus ride. It allowed me to fully enjoy the scenery without constant narration. If you’re someone who doesn’t need every detail explained, this tour will suit you perfectly!
Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this tour. It’s one of the Worlds wonder we would like to show them so we brought them here. They flew from San Jose. We flew from Michigan and then we met in Vegas and then we took this tour. We absolutely enjoyed in spite the weather was pretty cold or Tourist our tour guide was awesome. Her name is Laila. - Timothy B17 contributionsLoooved the tour, sights were fantastic, information was great, and the dam itself was really impressive up close. Really enjoyed the fact that we got to go inside as well! The drive was nice, and even got a nap on the way back.
In fact, the only drawback was the guide, hilarious at first (with all the dam jokes), it started to get old when his heavy conservative side started to show. Occasional jabs at the economy, young people, stuff like that is all good fun!
