I'm overall satisfied with the tour and experience. The natural beauty of the canyons and surrounding areas was stunning, and I appreciated that we were able to stop at Zion and hike in the canyon. This was possible because we were in a small van rather than a large tour bus. The pickup was on time, and our guide, Marcelo, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His commentary was engaging, and I learned some interesting facts about Las Vegas that were new to me. He also provided great tips on other attractions to explore in the city.
The tour allowed enough time to visit the canyons, enjoy the hikes, and make a few stops for snacks, restrooms, etc. However, it would have been nice to stop at a visitor center for souvenirs, though I understand this might have cut into our hiking time.
My only real issue was the use of a minivan instead of a large tour bus. As a solo traveler, I prefer larger buses to avoid sitting so closely with strangers and to have more space. Unfortunately, the back of the van was cramped, and I didn’t have enough legroom which made the ride uncomfortable. While I understand the advantages of using a smaller vehicle, I wish it had been made clear beforehand that the tour would use a minivan. Had I known, I might have chosen a different option..
That said, it was still an enjoyable experience, and the breathtaking scenery is truly unmissable.
