Great way to see certain animals (like moose) up close! Kind of a small park, but kids enjoyed looking at all the animals. Recommend bug spray. There's also a playground and picnic area that we didn't get to check out.

More than just tin, so much history has been donated to this place. Admission is a donation-- this is a great place to stop at. You need to check it out!! I got lucky to get a private tour since it wasn't too busy. This really made the trip!

Booked four hour trip – perfect weather, great fun had by all, including the rafting and the mud slides. Our kids loved the full experience -- us grandparents would have been good with the two-hour experience.

Played this course on 16 Aug 18. Course was in great condition. Greens are quick, fair and large Just the right amount of slope in the greens to make you think but not so hard to make the round unpleasant. Nice family run course. Had a nice chat with the owner's wife who runs the snack bar and told us that the course was opened in 2003. The views on the back nine are great. The ruff is cut just about right. The back and the front are really 2 different courses. Front is narrow and the back is more wide open. Just a short drive from Halifax and it is worth the trip.

Loved this little shop in Shubenacadie. Lots of items to see and look at. Their café is a nice little space and their food and baked goods are amazing. I will be visiting again. Friendly service.

It was a beautiful place to stay, the peace and quiet was wonderful. The chalet was a great place to stay with kids.

I have tried to describe this experience to people back home and it's tough. Imagine riding waves moving backwards up the river, in water the color of chocolate milk. There are other companies running rafts on the river, and when the rapids appear from the incoming tide, they all line up their boats to take their turn crashing into the waves. Then circle and do it over and over again. The float trip began with a stop at some MUD flats to slip and slide in. Wear clothes (and especially shoes) you won't mind throwing away. Because they'll never get clean again.

Devin was a great guide - he couldn't help but smile and laugh the whole time he was getting us soaked.
