This was an incredible experience for an unbeatable price. Our tour guide, Lalo, was very organized and anticipated our needs at every point of the tour. He prepared us with all the supplies we needed and gave us really interesting tidbits about the social and historical nature of Tolantongo. It was the perfect mix of adventure (exploring the caves) and relaxation (hanging out in the hot springs). I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Querétaro. Don’t miss the beautiful Querétaro sunset on your way back to the city!

Thank you so much for organizing this fantastic tour! 👍 We will highly recommend your agency. Carlos is an excellent and experienced driver. He takes care for his guests in a perfect and professional manner. Max the guide is a very nice guy, with very deep knowledge on mexican history. His tour was 5⭐️. We highly recommend him as well. The cacao workshop was a very nice finish of the tour. Thank you so much and we will book your agency definitely next time we are in Queretaro. Muchos saludos de toda la familia 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Our driver was very good and stopped at restaurants along the way with good food. We imagined the drive to be very long and tedious but the time passed quickly. It is 3 1/2 hours each way. Sunday is the busiest day of the week so best to choose either Tues, Wednesday or Thursday. Our only complaint is that our car was a Toyota small 4door compact with no leg room and we sat in the back. It was very cramped and uncomfortable. We had expected a van or bus. That said, it was a more intimate experience.

My friends and I are very grateful for this deep emersion in story telling by our guide, Alejandro. He is a walking wikipedia of history, architecture, culture, gastronomy and it extends beyond just Queretaro city to include the impact of other nearby towns. As we walk around the town and he points out occurrences in the buildings our imagination was vividly engaged. I know this tour should be about 4 hours, but we were so engaged we did 5+ hours as we kept discovering more and more information. Alejandro’s passion for all that Mexico represents was evident. I even had questions the next day and he promptly gave us more suggestions by phone. He is fluent in Spanish and English and other languages. He adds a flair of accents when sharing historical characters! I will be sure to engage again for more towns.

Aaron is the perfect guide to take you on an informative tour of this beautiful, historic city. His English is impeccable and after 12 years of giving tours here, he knows so much about how the city was built and the different eras of people living there. He knew a great place to eat right across from Diego Rivera’s house and museum. The tour was just the right amount of time, and we would highly recommend taking this tour from Aaron!

Views were astonishing, and we had an amazing time. Drive is long, but packed with scenic mountains, and our guide told interesting stories along the way.

Be aware that the route may vary based on the weather - our tour skipped Cuatro Palos due to the chance of fog covering the view, which was a bit sad.

Our family of 9 adults had a good time on this evening tour. The actors, facilitators and musician were well organized and professional. We saw some amazing buildings in Central Queretaro and heard some interesting legends and learned a bit of history. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants a bit of entertainment and is looking for a fun activity to do with others.

This tour was absolutely amazing! Edgar, our tour guide, was so nice, friendly, and was able to easily translate with us. Also, they were able to accommodate our vegetarian diets with the restaurants. The food was good too! Make sure to try squash blossom quesadillas!

As amazingly beautiful as San Miguel is, Santiago de Querétaro has so MANY beautiful places! Querétaro is such a big city and especially prominent is the art; displayed by way of sculptures, murals, museums, and more. Expect to spend more money in San Miguel- the artisans & street vendors are some of the best in Central Mexico; however, I would definitely allow more time when visiting Querétaro. A vast landscape of cobblestone streets, bold colors and of course, all the things I love about big cities like the restaurants, musuems & beautiful Spanish Colonial churches... QTO has the most incredible architectural feats such as the Aqueduct... everytime I get lost I find a new neighborhood with markets, sculptures, fountains, public art...I find unique traits at each turn that are just as beautiful as the last.

I would note that I have spent the month living by the university, though I'm a tad old for the clubs, I walk past quite a few bars & clubs ranging from Hip Hop & Electronic music. The night scene in Querétaro is broad and easily accessible. San Miguel does not cater to younger people as much & everything is quiet by 10pm.

Aaron took us on two separate tours of the historic center of Queretaro several months apart. His English is excellent and on both occasions we found him to be a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. He is clearly passionate about the history, culture, architecture, and art of the region, and was happy to answer all of our questions. He was also very flexible and able to tailor the tour to our interests and needs--on one tour I had my elderly mother and he was sensitive to her limitations. He drove us to see the aqueduct and answered several follow-up questions that I had via WhatsApp. I would highly recommend Aaron as a tour guide for either Queretaro or San Miguel. Thanks, Aaron!
