- Stephanie RNew Hyde Park, United States72 contributionsWe came together Clovis to celebrate our 41 Anniversary. Gina our host was extremely friendly making our day that more special. The Rose wine we chose was very smooth and highly recommended.Written September 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ehill13Cape May Point, NJ149 contributionsLove shopping at The Jamesport Country Store! The owner is charming and so nice and the shop itself is full of things you never knew you needed! Fun to browse (and buy)! Lots of unique gift ideas and the old fashioned candy cigarettes are always a hit with my (adult) kids!! A definite place to stop in to when you are in the area.Written September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carmela SWesterly, RI97 contributionsThis was the most unassuming vineyard we tried. It actually isn’t a vineyard but a pretty property where visitors can drink Sherwood’s wine. Dave was very friendly and informative. We enjoyed sitting inside learning about our 6 wine tasting (largest of the 5 vineyards we visited) and drinking outside on the quiet patio with other patrons. Dogs welcome:)Written July 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Crystal XLong Island, NY294 contributionsA very causal winery, laid back and you can wear anything here. They allow no masks when you’re walking around and ordering. They don’t take reservations but there are loads of space inside and outside to sit and drink your 5 wines for $15. Great price, not much to eat but it’s cheap and nice to sit out in the sun. They have llamas and goats for the children if you have any. They also welcome dogs!Written May 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - marie sHuntington, NY1,073 contributionsWe enjoyed a late afternoon wine at this vineyard with good friends. The atmosphere was lovely, the day warm and inviting and the vineyard not overwhelmed with people. We have learned over the years to enjoy our vineyards here on LI during the week. Weekends are a traffic nightmare with farms and vineyards open and mobbed. The wine was excellent and the surroundings beautiful. We made reservations so be be sure we would have the best seating. Well worth a visit.Written October 16, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- marield1990Baldwin, NY1,363 contributionsThis winery is small and fells like you are hanging out at someones house. We came on the Saturday or Memorial Day weekend around 4 and it was busy, but not full. We had the groupon deal of two glasses of wine and a pizza. The wine was good and the pizza was very good. It came out pretty quick. Nice big slices of tomatoes. The crust was nice and thin. Our waitress was very nice. They had a live performer who did background music. A relaxing afternoon. Definitely not like the big fancy wineries, so if that's what you want look elsewhere.Written May 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christina MSetauket, NY633 contributionsThis show which displays works arranged around the theme of water is a fascinating view of water in its many forms.
The digital photographs are particularly intriguing as they were layered and manipulated to create various pieces of art.
The shows change periodically and are worth a visit.Written July 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Hard to find shade.Written August 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SueBlue962Darien, CT898 contributionsWe made a reservation for a tasting on a chilly Sunday afternoon. When we arrived we found out that it was Cinema Sunday at Terra Vite! So, in addition to the always delightful wine choices, one of our favorite cheese and charcuterie plates, we were offered popcorn to enjoy as we watched Casablanca (family favorite classic).
I have been to Terra Vite several times since they opened with my husband, family, and friends and each time has been a great experience. Jessy and the other employees at the vineyard are warm, welcoming, and always ready with a recommendation each time we are there.
When the weather is a bit warmer will be back to enjoy a delightful afternoon with our friends at Terra Vite!!Written January 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This mile long beach area is environmentally protected and is also very clean.Written September 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
