Always love coming to the falls. Grew up here a child and boy has it changed. They have really revamped the downtown area. This is a must see for yourself and the family!!

Knowing fully well Maid of the Mist etc will be closed for the season, my family and I still planned a visit here in December, because the state park itself is open year round. It wasn’t too busy, and we found plenty of parking - $10 per vehicle, and valid for the entire day, even if you move from parking lot to parking lot.
The gift shop was a tad bit of a let down, but we enjoyed the falls from Prospect Point. The evening illumination and 8 pm fireworks were worth the repeat visit in the evening.

Terrapin Point was beautiful at sunset and so worth it. Nice hiking trails. A cute gift shop closes early.

Outstanding views of the whirlpool and class 6 rapids. The park allows for enjoyment in the green spaces and on the trails. Seems like a lot of buses with tourists come through, and the visitor center is closed for renovation. The parking lot is pretty large and allows for quite a few vehicles. No entry fee is charged.

Pretty views but nothing really to do just different views of the river. It's a quick walk over a couple small bridges.

Disappointing. It's no longer a outlet where you can get deals. After factoring the exchange rate, gas and meals it's cheaper to stay in Canada

Great place to stop for information. The lady working there was very helpful. Gave us a lot of information on things to do in the area

Amazing day out in the first crazy hot day in 2023. The trails were clearly marked and the views? Spectacular. Small kids may find this quite difficult. The drop is 196m so climbing up and down raises the heart rate for sure. The park and picnic area are pristine and a very large space with great washroom facilities.

Seneca Casino has a great design minus the smoking section. The main part of the casino has a view of the STIR stage where pretty good to great entertainment takes place every Friday and Saturday. The bands can be heard and seen from pretty much everywhere.

Gift days are a nightmare. Herds of people jammed into 8 lines with little space where we line up sometimes for over a half hour just to print the slip so that we can go line up again to pick up the gift. A gift typically worth 20-30 bucks unless it's Advantage RSVP gift day and then it's likely worth closer to a 100 bucks. Seneca please find solutions or alternatives to making us feel like cattle in a herd. Move some of the computer screens over to the Will Call or go back to the good old fashioned way of having a customer service rep take you from A to B in one step.

Seneca Casino Slots and the drop in payout %'s the past few months is tangible. It's clear to me and everyone I speak to that our gaming budget lasts half or less of what it used to. It's why our visits or getting less frequent. If it keeps up our visits will be ending. The best way to keep avid slot players coming back it to give free slot play and to give players a fighting chance to play longer on their budget. Let them win sometimes or at least break even. Slot offers have been going down and slot play has been harder and harder to enjoy. It's common now to go through 200 bucks and not get a bonus play.

Seneca staff are mostly friendly. Drink service is good. Restaurants are lacking. The Western Door is good to great. La Cascata serve the worst Lasagna ever. Not what it was pre-Pandemic. They need a change. 3 Sisters is just okay. Good coffee but below avg breakfast. Need to scrap the buffet breakfast and focus on improved quality of breakfast items. Actual fried potatoes would be nice. Blues is fine. Need one more restaurant that offers a Blues type menu in a sit and serve upgraded restaurant.

Seneca offers a Vegas style Casino with good drink service. The casino resort needs a larger version of the Bears Den that holds 3000 people so they can draw bigger name talent. One was scheduled to be built back before the 2008 great recession. It's time to bring that back to life. The main roads from Canada to the casino have been upgraded. Let's hope the improvements continue to expand and make NF USA as nice as the Canadian side.

The Schoellkopf Power Plant ruins is a great addition to the attractions on the American side of Niagara Falls. You take the restored plant elevator down to the Niagara River. At the base are nice murals explaining all about the plant and its collapse. There are also nice walking trails where you can take a short walk around the area or even take a longer hike.

One easy trail leads down to the water's edge. It is nice being at river level and having the unique view of the gorge and the river as you look back toward Rainbow Bridge and the Falls. And the best part is, it is completely free.

In the same area is the Maid of the Mist dry dock, where they store the boats during the winter.

The Niagara Gorge Discovery Center and Aquarium are across the street.

Having grown up on Elmwood Avenue, one City Market away from Pine Avenue and Route 62, I've known this park all my life, I've always loved it, and I always will!!! :) Most of my childhood was in the 1960s and 70s, and although my parents, with whom my sister and I shared so many adventures in this park, are now interred in St. Joseph's Cemetery, adjacent to the park :( , many of the features which made this park so special to two little girls and their parents, are alive and well! :) The picnic tables, grills, and gazebos are all still there, servicing today's generations of happy family picnic-goers; although my physical situation is different now, I often walk through the front of the park that's adjacent to St. Joe's, and find that, in snow-free weather, the grass is quite manageable with the careful use of a walker! :) There is also a public restroom which is also manageable, but I prefer to use the one at Tim Horton's, across the street from the park! :) Hyde Park Pond is popular, again in clement weather, for fishing and small boats - fishermen and women have been known to come home with admirably sized fish, and even a few turtles, from this pond! :) The Rose Garden still blooms in the summer; the old 1960s/70s playground has been reconstructed and is a reasonably close facsimile; the Veterans' Memorial is new, only a few years old...and, Fall is coming, time for Hyde Park's old-growth trees to blaze in all their Autumn glory!!! :) For those of you who don't drive, getting to Hyde Park is easy: just take the NFTA Metro bus #55, which features a stop across the street from the park on the way up, and one directly in front of the park on the way back! :) See you soon, Hyde Park, with my camera!!! :)

This is I think the only Church in Niagara Falls (at least I saw no other). It's a nice old stone Church, however we found it closed during our two days stay, so cannot comment the interiors.

There is an 8 minute video on Nicola Tesla at the Maid of the Mist attraction. The theater is decorated beautifully full of art, posters. Seating g in theater is wooden bench with a few rows to seat about 30-40 people. There are captions for hearing impaired guest and staff are wonderful.
