There is plenty to see and paved trials to follow along the river for several miles. It also includes Goat and the Three Sister islands. There are plenty of benches to rest if walking. If driving there a re multiple parking lots. This park is billed as the first state park in the nation. There is plenty to see and do. Allot of the attractions in the park are reviewed separately. Seeing the falls lit up at night is a must see. I would say you need multiple days to take it all in,Written November 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - arbi n217 contributionsThere are lovely walking routes in Whirlpool State Park that offer a variety of breathtaking river views. Without a doubt, I would strongly advise doing the same when visiting Niagara Falls.Written September 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sanju_222323New Jersey17,930 contributionsThe Prospect Point Observation Tower (also known as Niagara Falls Observation Tower) is a great way to admire the full grandeur of the falls from Niagara Falls, NY. Although it is set a short distance away from the edge of the falls, it is close enough to the falls to occasionally enjoy a refreshing spray.
From here, you can get a clear view of all three falls, including American Falls, as well as the mesmerizing rapids.
The boarding area for the Maid of the Mist tours is located at the base of the tower, accessed by a high-speed elevator from the observation deck. The base of the tower also provides access to the Crow's Nest, a smaller observation area located much closer to the falls.
You do not need to go on a Maid of the Mist tour to go to the lower level, but there is a small fee for the deck and elevator.Written December 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArrowVoyagerBrampton, Canada839 contributionsOne of the Best hikes ever. The scope of the Niagara Gorge is truly impressive. So many great things to see with the Highlite being the Rapids racing by within feet. It is an awesome experience. You can walk for miles or just turnaround after one mile. Very easy walking platform as it is the old trackbed for the Great Gorge Route.Written July 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 697billmAllison Park, PA352 contributionsA nice little easy walk from the scenic trolley stop or parking lot.You get a totally different view of the river and surroundings. You can relax and take in the natural view of the river. When we were there, there was no crowds as the other tourist stops.Written November 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KritomangBallwin, MO36 contributionsHotel was very nice, contrary to other reviews. Room. Halls, lobby, all very clean and nice. The staff were the rudest people this side of New York City. Rude is an attitude not a characteristic. There is no place in hospitality for rude people, but yet places still employ them. Arrogant and condescending attitudes must be a training tool so they don't have to actually be hospitable. Try training your people. You can get the same results, but with a smile and kindness. Even kindness in return to their arrogance was met with more arrogance. I'd rather stay somewhere else and pay more, or have less amenities then to pay the salaries of these rude, untrained customer service facing employees for their services (Excluding Angela at breakfast, Antonio and Christopher at the western door steakhouse. ). At the hostess stand at the western door steakhouse, the hostess was like a tired Grandma, and the person seating us looked like she just lost her dog. Sour puss and no conversation. Terrible. Why should your customers deal with this. Front desk- awful. Front desk manager- awful. Stop treating people like YOU are the warden.Written July 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stefanos-AgelikiKardamyla, Greece7 contributionsOur guide was Dayna and she was the reason we had such a great time. She toured us around by an SUV on the most important sights of Niagara Falls, from the Canada side and she answered our every question. She was very precise and accurate on her descriptions. One can tell that she is a very experienced tour guide. If we ever were to come back, we would definitely ask for her again.Written December 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 697billmAllison Park, PA352 contributionsGo way to get to different spots on Goat Island from the main park. For a single price per person, you can get on and off the trolley at any of there stops all day long. You can also just ride it round trip as they narrate what is at each stop. - thomas_o_hoffmannPerl, Germany19 contributionsAlthough you can get tickets of the Maid of the Mist and the Cave of the Winds without the Niagara Falls Adventure Tours it's fun to listen to the guide and his interesting stories.
