- DollfindolWest Islip, NY10 contributionsThis is a wonderful way to travel. The bartender, Brandon is friendly and knowledgeable. He provided great service. The food is good and the guys that direct the cars are very good at what they do.Written January 1, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gina S3 contributionsThis little museum will at the very least, pleasantly surprise you, but more likely, totally amaze you. The early 18th century house has been lovingly restored and the exhibits carefully and professionally curated. You will get a glimpse into the lives of the long ago inhabitants of the area and their livelihoods. Don’t miss the jewel that is the Oysterponds Historical Society!Written August 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ann SWaterford, CT251 contributionsBeautiful park. Free parking off season. Clean bathrooms and a cute playground near the beach. Being that it was a cool, cloudy, fall day there were very few people there. It must get packed during the summer season.Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lolly’s LookNew York City, NY14,972 contributionsThe orient point lighthouse is on the middle of the Long Island sound by Gardiners Bay by Plum Gut. You can o my see in by water. - psudinoWeehawken, NJ4,487 contributionsRealistically, this should be a 1 star site because it's an ordinary lighthouse on a island that you cannot visit. However, if you've read or heard anything about Plum Island, the legends make it neat to see this in real life. I'm not sure what is truth and what is fiction, but just seeing the island and the historic lighthouse makes the stories feel much more real.Written February 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Grace Carr LSF Bay Area358 contributionsWe stopped by during the North Fork Foodie Tour. This is a small co-op farm - all organic, one grower focusing on edibles. Most interesting if you can talk to the farmers.Written September 22, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dbinhou7511Houston, TX1,674 contributionsPebbly beach right at the narrows of NY25 before it gets to Orient. Technically just a beach for locals to fish from. Adjacent is another area to launch boats from. A nice place to sit and watch the world go by.Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hill HLitchfield, CT62 contributionsAlthough the holes looked easy, they were not. The greens were very challenging and protected by bunkers. - Polly M65 contributionsWe stopped in the Old Orchard Farm Store on a whim one Thursday in July. We are awfully glad we did! The owners were welcoming, the store was lovely, and we found beautiful and interesting things there to buy. The support of local artists by these shopkeepers is terrific, and I was so happy to find a lovely bracelet with beach glass, something I have collected for years on my walks on Little Peconic Bay. Orient is a charming village, and this store only adds to it.Written August 12, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
