    Good wines and a good time
    This was an excellent seven stop tour (four wineries and three other stops) of the Barossa Valley. The included lunch was tasty and others who had the vegetarian option liked theirs too. The wineries provided a good selection of wines for tasting and I didn’t feel pressured to purchase.

    Nice tour
    2 out of the four wineries were really exceptional. Lunch was good as well. Driver did a good job the whole day.

    Boutique wineries and a friendly driver
    Driver and winery's were awesome and the amount given in tastings was worth the price. Food was basic but tasty but the Maggie beer was lackluster however, especially at the end of the day when the kitchen is closed. All in all, a great way to get a taster of the Barossa for those who haven't done it before

    Beautiful Barossa Valley
    A great selection of wineries, wine and food. Our guide Paul was very engaging and had an endless store of anecdotes and a deep knowledge of local history.
    This is beautiful country, the wines are great, and the sommeliers at each winery have a deep knowledge of wines and wine making.
    Hahndorf is a gem. You could spend all day there.
    This trip is well worth it.

    One of a kind
    The tour was great value for money and the wines we tried were incredible. Perfect timing with the tour down under as well, sipping on wine watching the race go past will never forget. Can’t forget to mention Bob what a beautiful man and very knowledgeable.

    Awesome tour
    Host Dave was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the history and info about Adelaide and the Barossa Valley. We had an amazing day. Would highly recommend this tour.

    Must do wine tour of the Barossa
    Out trip was with Danny .

    He was most informative regarding the history of Adelaide , SA as a state and the background of the establishment of the wineries in the Barossa .

    We went to three boutique family run wineries .
    All were very friendly and generous with their time.
    The wines were delicious .

    We also were given the flexibility as a group to choose to go to a fourth winery or Maggie Beer’s farm .

    Lunch was included ( of your own choice ) in the tour and was amazingly good .

    I highly recommend this day tour as a must do in your stay in Adelaide .

    Perfect way to experience the Barossa
    My wife and I did this tour in a spectacular 1966 Mustang convertible in Champagne Gold, as part of our time away for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The car is a beast and is terrific fun to be driven around in, with no troubles at all with the top down on a hot day – a real joy to experience. We provided a heads up about a week before on the sorts of things we would like to do/see/visit in our tour and left the rest up to Tony – he built our itinerary based on the information provided and it was all perfect, exactly what we wanted. Our driver on the day Wendy was fantastic with endless knowledge on the history of the region and the places we visited, arranged a few things we could not have done just turning up on the day, and ensured we were always experiencing the best of the Barossa. Definitely worth doing in your time in the Valley.

    And outstanding experience
    This was the second time that we have experienced a Small Batch Wine Tour, and it was a fabulous day in the Barossa Valley.

    Matt’s knowledge of the area and wine is outstanding, but more importantly, it’s his ability to fine tune the days offering with what we the customer was after.

    Specifically, Russell and I were interested in boutique wineries with a point of difference. Matt knows the area and he knows the producers so the experience is so much more than just wine tasting.

    We had a wonderful day, including a delicious lunch at Fino.

    If we come to Adelaide again, we would not hesitate to book with Small Batch wine Tours.

    First class private tour of Barossa
    We organised this tour as part of some 60th birthday celebrations and had the most fantastic day out organised for us by Skip. From first making contact with Rachel weeks in advance from the UK through to the conclusion of the tour on 14 December 2022, everything was exactly what one would hope for from a professional team dedicated to ensuring their clients’ expectations were not only met but exceeded. The itinerary was agreed in advance; the wineries we visited were varied and interesting. The stop for lunch included visiting a really stunningly beautiful garden. We also visited a cheese producer and a small chocolate factory. Skip was fun to be with, well-informed about the Basrossa, and an excellent driver. We lost count of the number of people who waved or took photos of the immaculate, vintage cab. We’ve no hesitation in recommending this tour to anyone wanting a private tour. It was a superb way to celebrate a big birthday - thank you Skip and Rachel

    Unique, friendly, knowledgeable and fun day tour
    This experience is a “must do” when touring Barossa, so unique. We organised direct to celebrate our anniversary and as we have links to London the Red Cab seemed perfect. The team are very knowledgeable, super friendly and organised everything for us to allow the tour to be enjoyable, informative and well paced through the day.

    A Must-Do in Adelaide
    My partner and I had a fantastic experience on a private tour of Barossa Valley with Bus and Barrel a few weeks ago. Giovanna was an amazing driver and guide, who made us feel very welcome to Adelaide. We enjoyed her company throughout the day and she took good care of us as we went from winery to winery. This tour was a definite highlight of our SA trip and we couldn't recommend it more.
