Great place to spend a day. Playground and splash pad for the kids. Well-maintained board work to walk on next to the river. Restaurants and ice cream shops.

Beautiful river especially waking up to it during sunrise with all the fall trees in the background. There are tours by a licensed tour boat that is really interesting and there are lots of tubing places in the summer months as well!

Lots of history to see. Sit on a bench and relax watching the river! Walk the grounds and visit the Celtic cross.

Nice trail, and followed the Fish Quarry trail. The signage could have been better. The map and trail markers were "yellow" but we found ourselves in deeper terrain with no discernible path. Found another couple who were also lost. We retraced our steps and followed the "blue" marker (no blue trail on the map) and eventually found our way out.

The terrain was quite steep in places, so wear good shoes! I wished I had taken a photo of the trail map at the outset, as maps were few and far between, as were the trail markers.

A visit to the Basilica is worth taking as it over looks the Mirimachi River. A very imposing structure with arches and stained glass offers a great photo opportunity.

Very much enjoyed our afternoon tea. Nicely presented with a great atmosphere giving us a little history of Lord Beaverbrook. Both volunteers and actors were friendly and helpful answering our questions. The tea, scones and sweets were a nice treat as well. Would highly recommend for others to experience this attraction.

Wilson's Point is a must see for anyone visiting the Miramichi Area. From the authentic replica Kirk(church) to the walking trails under the massive pine trees it is a wonderful place to spend some time...

Never heard of this place but I am glad we discovered it. A fun little trip back in time. We took a horse drawn carriage ride down to a farm where you can take a tour of an old house. Very interesting and informative. There is also a beach and farm animals to see. Lots of nice photo ops. I would definitely recommend it for families with little kids. Lots of fun.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, took the time to find out our flavour profiles/taste. Loved that we could try before we bought - ended up buying ALL that we tried!

Interesting array of Historical Items that relate to the region. They are in a newere building that has been excellently adapted to provide a good visitor experience. Operated by volunteers who do a great job.

Went on Friday afternoons, good place to spend some time. Several vendors on site, picked up fresh produce on many of my visits. Jewellery makers were on site and things could be made to order. Convenient and welcoming vendors.

Everyone that goes there gets a pic of the centennial bridge. the Miramichi river and loves the atmosphere. It gets a bit busy and is a great place to hold a function wedding grad party etc.

Wonderful start to our East coast visit! We laughed, sang, tapped our toes, and even learned how to play the spoons. It was so enjoyable and so truly Canadian. We were honoured to be guests in your kitchen.
