- Chris25 contributionsNice trail, and followed the Fish Quarry trail. The signage could have been better. The map and trail markers were "yellow" but we found ourselves in deeper terrain with no discernible path. Found another couple who were also lost. We retraced our steps and followed the "blue" marker (no blue trail on the map) and eventually found our way out.
The terrain was quite steep in places, so wear good shoes! Both volunteers and actors were friendly and helpful answering our questions. The tea, scones and sweets were a nice treat as well. We took a horse drawn carriage ride down to a farm where you can take a tour of an old house. Very interesting and informative. There is also a beach and farm animals to see. Lots of nice photo ops. Jewellery makers were on site and things could be made to order.
