Look-out points are awe inspiring! The smells, sights, and sounds are a memory that will last a lifetime. A definite must if yer in the area! It was along the river, but above it, so you park below and tote your gear up steps to the site. The payoff in privacy is very nice. The pit toilet was nearby. The only problem was really having enough space for our car at the bottom of the site. We have a minivan and it was hard to get it safely tucked in along the side.
