We happened upon the "education center" as a way to dry out in the rain and LOVED it! There were fantastic multi-media displays and we could have spent hours there.
    It was FREE!!!

We visited this place at sunset and early morning. While I didn't go inside, I enjoyed walking the scenic and easy trails around it. We also spotted whales swimming around the lighthouse. Very enjoyable.

Given our weekend trip to Gros Morne got rained out by Hurricane Elsa, the museum was a welcome activity for our young kids today. The young girl working was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great gift shop with locally homemade crafts and goods.

We were fortunate to bump into owners Michael and Annette on a trail one evening and enjoyed exchanging stories about Newfoundland and our travels. Michael was an outstanding ambassador for Newfoundland and had some excellent recommendations for our upcoming travel across the province. We visited the shop the following morning to browse through their collection of local crafts and were once again entertained by Michael's stories of some of their displayed treasures.
Well worth stopping by for a look!

We saw Miranda Reid's artwork on the wall of the Buoys and Arrows restaurant in Rocky Harbour. We immediately made plans to be in the area when her gallery and gift shop was open. She has a unique style and has delightful jelly fish and sea stars priced from under $20 to large multimedia pieces to invest in. I had a hard time making a choice of a piece that could continue to travel with us, but she does mail items as well. A calm reflective spot to spend time in, immersed in her beautiful art. Highly recommended.

Saw dozens of galleries and gift shops on our tour of Newfoundland. This was the most fun and had wonderfully creative works in glass.

Check out the clothes lines and the wavey scenes. Could have spent a second hour here marvelling at the artist’s imagination and stunning works.

If you are near Gros Morne don’t miss this modest shop.

By chance, we popped into the Treasure Box restaurant for lunch. We were greeted with a cheery hello and served quickly and hot. I had moose soup and burger which was delicious. The 3 others in our group experienced similar. The food fare is homey and prepared with care Try their baked beans too. We plan to head back for other meals. Prices are reasonable too.

We went on a beautiful 2 hour tour from Norris Point in Bonne Bay. It was an excellent tour with Captain Angus and Wayne and Charlie as first mates and tour guides. Funny, entertaining, informative and musical! Would highly recommend this trip.

An incredible experience truly and obviously crafted with love, soul and community at the heart. My fellow community members and myself thoroughly enjoyed this powerful Newfoundland adventure. Couldn’t find a think not to recommend about it, unless you’re allergic to a good time 😜

We spent 5 days in the park and hiked on half of the marked trails. They are all awesome. The park tanks them in terms of difficulty. We were on the green and blue rated trails. The trails in the park that are blue or green rated are all very wall marked with beautiful scenery. Would recommend them all

We did a cave tour with Clemence last week in Corner Brook. It was just myself and my husband on tour.
She was an amazing tour guide with lots of information on the caves.
I wouldn’t recommend it for people with mobility issues. It was very challenging but we are glad we did it.
    I highly recommend this company.
