- DisneyMamaToronto, Canada62 contributionsWonderful national park! i love visiting Canadian national parks and this one is top of the list. So many beautiful hikes ranging in difficulty, even the drive through the park is beautiful. We hiked Gros Morne Mountain and it was a challenge but worth it! The views at the top were spectacular and we all feel like we accomplished something! Gros Morne is a must see park and I absolutely will be backWritten October 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Helga RNew Brunswick, Canada15 contributionsAfter exploring Western Brook Pond, we headed to Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse to watch the Sunset! It definitely did not disappoint! You can walk all the way to the rocky beach and enjoy the sunset from there!Written December 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Coastal0021595884115 contributionsGiven our weekend trip to Gros Morne got rained out by Hurricane Elsa, the museum was a welcome activity for our young kids today. The young girl working was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great gift shop with locally homemade crafts and goods.Written July 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - islandgurl2Vancouver Island, Canada512 contributionsOutstanding! These guys are not only accomplished musicians, they are hilarious. The show was incredible and we enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend taking it in whenever visiting the area; this was a definite cultural highlight of our 3 week trip to Newfoundland. Make sure you arrive early to get a seat closer to the stage as it fills up quickly. Seating is limited and the show is usually sold out, so be prepared to share your table if there are less than 4 In your group. The night we were there 2/3 of the seats were also reserved for a bus tour, so even when we arrived more than 2 hours ahead of showtime there were only a few seats available. The band is so good at drawing the crowd in, and even the wait staff joins in on the fun, performing a river-dance and inciting the crowd! So much fun! Love, love, loved it!Written December 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- gary3000St. John's, Canada148 contributionsThe glass art here is really superb. Such good Newfoundland souvenirs or just great art in general. You will find it hard to locate better glass art than this. Whether bowls, glass panes, coloured fish, etc. It is like buying fine art.
There are also ceramics and art from other local artists too.
Urve also has a good coffee machine for cappuccinos etc and has a lovely, sheltered deck at the back. She is friendly and interesting to talk to too.
Recommended for a visit and a purchase.Written June 21, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dave BOttawa, Canada18 contributionsBy chance, we popped into the Treasure Box restaurant for lunch. We were greeted with a cheery hello and served quickly and hot. I had moose soup and burger which was delicious. The 3 others in our group experienced similar. The food fare is homey and prepared with care Try their baked beans too. We plan to head back for other meals. Prices are reasonable too.Written September 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SSZAN9 contributionsWe booked the Eastern Arm Look About tour with Trina and had the privilege of learning so much about Gros Morne from her. The UTV ride was such good fun and comfortable even for my elderly parents. Thank you so much Trina - for your wonderful family and cultural stories, songs with ugly sticks and spoons, and for going above and beyond to show us the magic of Gros Morne! This was an unforgettable and special experience for us. We also managed to purchase Scott’s beautiful partridgeberry soaps from the Visitor’s Centre.Written October 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark ILaSalle, Canada45 contributionsWe spent 5 days in the park and hiked on half of the marked trails. They are all awesome. The park tanks them in terms of difficulty. We were on the green and blue rated trails. The trails in the park that are blue or green rated are all very wall marked with beautiful scenery. Would recommend them allWritten September 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- kimmer9396Region of Waterloo, Canada1,372 contributionsWe did a cave tour with Clemence last week in Corner Brook. It was just myself and my husband on tour.
She was an amazing tour guide with lots of information on the caves.
I wouldn’t recommend it for people with mobility issues. It was very challenging but we are glad we did it.
I highly recommend this company.
