This park was spectacular one of our favorite national parks. When you book with Bon tours for the Western Brooke pond which is highly recommended you get one day towards park entry just show that to the person at the gate The drive was so beautiful through it stopping at many lovely places and we loved driving through the tablelands. We especially loved Bonne Bay liked this better than Norris, Norris point, Needles harbor, Trout River, Rocky harbor and Lobster cove. We took the scenic route 430 and 431 there is a great large store at deer creek like a huge grocery i would recommend loading up on stuff there for variety otherwise variety is lacking in the smaller grocery. The Jenniex house and Dr Henry Payne center was closed off season as were other things but no problem tons of scenery to capture your attention. We drove as far as Shallow bay but was very disappointed in the described most beautiful beaches in Canada it was completely covered with brown foul smelling seaweed. Maybe just that time of year but worth checking if that changes with season

Amazing views from this lighthouse. The museum inside the lighthouse was very interesting and certainly worth taking time to visit. We were on the way to the Western Pond boat tour, when we stopped at the lighthouse so did not have the time to fully tour the museum.definitely warrants a second visit!

Given our weekend trip to Gros Morne got rained out by Hurricane Elsa, the museum was a welcome activity for our young kids today. The young girl working was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great gift shop with locally homemade crafts and goods.

This place has really great local products. Almost everything the group of three of us bought in 9 days on the west coast was from here.
The owners are absolutely lovely 🥰

Even though the day was cool, the tour was wonderful! Our guide was very informative and the captain took us to many scenic spots. We took so many photos!

Did the 2-hour Eastern Arm Look About Tour and highly recommend, although I’m confident that any tour offered by Under the Stump would be a great experience. Trina will tailor the tour to your interests and is a wealth of knowledge. The experience was designed with care and a deep sense of community and connectedness. We learned all about the back country way of life and were treated like members of the family. The views were also unbeatable - this is much, much more than an ATV tour!

Be sure to visit the store and check out all the products made by Trina and her family (shout out to Scott’s candles and soaps!)

You won’t be disappointed - this is a must-do while in Rocky Harbour.
