- Amy C3 contributionsA trip on the water with Kris Prince is priceless! You won’t find anyone in the world more passionate or knowledgeable about the wildlife and sea in Trinity and Bonavista Bay than Kris and Shawna. Kris’s zest is contagious and his skills set in spotting a whale tale is unparalleled. I’m convinced he’d find a whale in a lake, he could find a whale anywhere! You won’t regret planning a few hours at sea with Kris.
Don’t forget to visit the shop on site for the nicest and best quality merch around! You might even get to cuddle Minke (yes-their dog’s named after a whale) outside the suit shed! See, I told you they’d show you a whale anywhere;)Written November 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Knowing that the whales had already left Trinity Bay for warmer climes, we were bused 40 mins across the pennisula to King's Cove, where we were rewarded by the presence of a pair of feeding humpback whales. We were able to observe these beautiful citations in their natural habitat for well over an hour before heading back to shore. Having whale watched in larger vessels, the experience of being on the water in a pontoon boat, with only 14 other people made this trip a truely memorable experience of bring up close and personal with the wildlife. Highly recommend, although not for anyone with serious back issues.Written September 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chencelaneyPrinceton, MA3 contributionsKevin's tour was full of fascinating information. He is a great story-teller and has a dry wit. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, despite a somewhat drizzly day. Well worth it!Written August 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bjstokes1Oakville, Canada2 contributionsHad the pleasure of touring Trinity Bay for 2.5 hours on a nice large boat with only my husband and 2 friends plus 2 manning the boat. What an experience having the boat to ourselves. Saw iceberg and several whales. Whales went right under the boat and came up along side very lazily just looking at us looking at them. Other zodiac tours in area but you are in wetsuits and strapped into chairs. Too small for my liking and too crowded getting near these large creatures especially if they are orca. Give me a nice large boat an ability to walk around and really see them at leisurely pace. Wonderful experienceWritten August 9, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
