We hiked the Skyline trail -- amazing views without having to climb too high. Although we were there on a perfect day in peak season, it wasn't unpleasantly crowded, and in any case, everyone was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Beautiful dramatic views heading out and back, on a lovely sunny day, although unusually hot. Bring water! Mostly level.

When the sand is visible it's gorgeous. Visit every year. Very close to amenities. The bonus is nearby Warren Lake.

The ride through here was gorgeous and memorable. For the best views I would recommend the gondola ride. It will take you to a fantastic viewing area where you can have a picnic. You have the choice of hiking down the hill or taking the gondola down ...this 66 year old took the gondola.

A good stop for looking at a bog, easy to access. Stay on the path. Might be prettier in the fall, but easily take an hour to appreciate fully.

Great view of the falls if you can walk down the stairs to the lower viewing deck. You park about 200 meters from the falls. Cross over an old bridge and down the stairs. You might want to bring a swimsuit for a dip in the pool at the bottom. There is a washroom at the bridge and a few spots to have a picnic.

Chris and his wife Lynn have closed Lynn's Craft shop which held Chris's Gallery of works where you could see and purchase his work. He is still painting however and his work can be found around the island. One location for his Watercolours and Oil work as well as prints and cards is the Colouratura Fine Art Gallery, 45943 Cabot Trail,Indian Brook, NS. 902-929-2324

Trail circles the lake and has some pretty spots. Picnic area at the beginning of the trail and a good swimming spot. I would classify this as easy to medium hike. Fairly easy walking with some routes. Beautiful in the fall.

My Husband and I did this hike as part of our Cape Breton Adventure in August 2021. This is a short hike about 2 1/2 km long and heads up a small hill which provides several overlooks providing great views of the ocean, Cape Smokey and Warren's Lake, The trail is fairly easy and well maintained. Several patches of wild blueberries along the route made for a refreshing treat (our dog loves wild blueberries and picks her own).
Overall a great early morning hike.

This was a surprising stop. The little church was gorgeous, easy parking and worth the 10 minutes it takes. PS They also have a bathroom which was an unexpected bonus.

Stayed at Lantern Hill. Right on the beach. Very private. The sunrise and moon rise are unimaginable. This is a great location for touring the region. The hosts are fantastic !

Quick stop to stretch your legs with awesome views of the Atlantic Ocean. Requires walking over the large rocks. Fairly easy walk but requires supervision of pets and children as there are many crevices between the rocks.

Loved this trail! Variety of woodland and coast, waterfall, cliffs, boardwalks, viewing platform and interpretive signs. Trail has 2 loops, kind of - view the map before you set in. I did both loops. I'm setting this one as a favourite and will be back.

We stopped here to purchase our park pass and to get some sightseeing suggestions for the park and found it to be very helpful and informative. Unfortunately there was only 1 lady working at the time so the wait was substantial. It would have been helpful if there were some simple park maps to grab and go or even a recorded audio program explaining the more popular hikes and or stop areas in the park.....so you can listen & look at these while you are waiting in line.

We were blessed to attend Sunday worship here. The people were kind and quietly welcoming. The stained glass windows and banners reflected the focus on the seas, and float buoys lined the window sills representing individual boats of blessed memory or current prayer concern, I would assume. This was not a tourist site, but an honest part of the spiritual life of this community. It was a privilege to step into.
