It was such fun and we also learnt a lot. The sausages we made were delicious.

The tastings of local food were top rate, with a particularly informative Pork Pie tasting being the highlight for me.
All this was fitted into an interesting historical context which was beautifully delivered by Matt and Charla

The weather was appalling with rain and high winds but that didn’t spoil our time. The site is absolutely spotless. We stayed on the northern side and the toilets and showers were individual rooms which was amazing. Every one of the staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. All of the fellow guests were also really friendly. A big shout out to maryanne the bar supervisor she is the most lovely lady and really made our stay extra special. We will not forget your kindness. The ed Sheeran tribute night was brilliant and just made my birthday night really great. The food in the clubhouse was amazing and the takeaway night fab as we didn’t have to wash up. Hope we left you some vodka and gin as we loved trying all the flavours. We will definitely be back to see you again. You have gone to my number 1 favourite site. My eye kettleby teddy bear has pride of place in my caravan. - Debbie MYork, England, United Kingdom69 contributionsHad an absolutely brilliant day out at 6 Hills Jetski. It is right next door to the Six Hills Golf Course nr Melton Mowbray. We had a go at Flyboarding - you have jets of water forced through the soles of your boots which allows you to levitate on or over the surface of the water - assuming you can keep your balance. The team at Six Hills were absolutely fantastic, provided all the gear and tuition. There is even a small café to get something hot to eat and drink when you have finished.
