We visited the caves with our teenage daughter, it was such a great experience, when we arrived we had a warm welcome from the lady on reception who talked us through what to expect on the tour.
We opted for the Robin Hood cave tour as some of the other caves were closed due to some logging that was happening at the time, but this didn’t effect the experience.
El our tour guide was outstanding, her knowledge of the Crags and caves and the history was brilliant! She made it very interesting for all ages in the group.
We had a coffee and panini in the cafe afterwards which was very nice 👍
We loved it so much that we are planning to come back next week with the younger kids.
We also would like to try the witches cave.

Weekend to myself and decided to make a day of my weekly visit to Fiskerton, and call here en route. Arrived at 9.30 and was surprised to find the car park almost full already. Attempted to do some of the geocaches that are here, but phone signal is almost non existent so it took me longer thsn anticipated. Had a nice walk down to the bridge and back and then had a jacket potato in the cafe for lunch but was disappointed as it was supposed to be with cheese, but the amount of cheese that came with it wouldn't have fed a mouse.
Drove round to Hardwick for a walk to the weir and the coffee cabin before setting off on my way

My partner and I went to The Tournament Ground as I had booked him a tractor driving experience for Christmas. The guy who met us there and took him out in the tractor, Alex, was absolutely lovely. My other half had an amazing time and loved every second. We are going to go back to do a combine harvester experience in the summer. Can’t wait!

It really is an asset to the area. I met my friend in Shireoaks and we walked up the canal. It was a sunny day and there were plenty other walkers. It is really cared for. It has become one of my favourite walks.

We had a wonderful couple of hours here with our grandchildren aged 6 and 3. It was a hot bank holiday weekend so lots of people here but still not over crowded. The water splash was brilliant and the girls loved it. Lots of swings, slides and other apparatus to. Parking over the road is 70p for 2 hours. The only thing that lets this down is the not so great toilets which were very dirty when we were there
