#1 of 8 Nature & Parks in Logan
Loved this hiking trail as I have arthritis and was so glad to have a paved trail that made it easier to walk the trail and enjoy the beauty of nature.
We loved that every stop in Hocking Hills State Park had options for both a gorge trail and a rim trail so that you can choose to do one or see both areas.
#2 of 8 Nature & Parks in Logan
We were so awed by the gorgeous waterfalls, rock formations and serene nature setting.
The waterfalls can be viewed from a variety of locations and you can continue on down the trail to other parks of the park including Old Man's Cave.
#3 of 8 Nature & Parks in Logan
The Gorge trail is one of the most placid trails in the Hocking Hills State Park complex, following a stream bed with Hemlocks on the NE side and hardwoods on the SW side.
This is an amazing park right around the corner from soaring cliffs zipline.

The Gorge Overlook Trail is one of many named trails accessible from the Old Man's Cave parking lot in Ohio's Hocking Hills State Park.
Many photo ops, unique beauty in nature
#5 of 8 Nature & Parks in Logan
This trail was just opened at Hocking Hills State Park and it was a definite surprise.
It is easy to get to you if you park where the old lodge once stood.

We accidentally stumbled on this gem of a park during our recent visit to the Hocking Hills region.
I know it sounds like alot of money, but with all the FREE stuff to do in hocking hills state park I figured we could afford to splurge a bit on a sunset cruise on the lake.
Rockbridge State Nature Preserve Rockbridge 8.4 km away
#2 of 3 Nature & Parks in Rockbridge
The hiking trails and the sites to see in the park areas were absolutely breathtaking!
This is a great adventure hike-not in the Hocking Hills State Park- that leads to a naturel rock bridge down by a lovely river.
Old Man's Cave Ohio 12.9 km away
#20 of 630 Nature & Parks in Ohio
This was a wonderful trail to hike in Hocking Hills State Park.
Old Mans Cave has always been the most popular portion of the most popular state park in Ohio so it is almost always busy.
