We did learn to listen to the audio while driving so we didn't just sit parked listening. The locations had very little to do with the story. The hosts were so knowledgeable and friendly, the samples were fun, and we came away with our own candy bars that we made. The naturalist was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Oregon geology, the formation of lava tubes, etc. however, I reread the tour description and there's a sneaky phrase at the end that says see additional information for discussion of lava tube. Difficulty. This exploration is difficult. You are climbing over large boulders and the overhead space gets narrower and narrower. With a replacement knee I was unable to continue the tour to the end. Scott is a great operator and tour guide. - G F1 contributionWorth every penny and then some! Had family in town from out of state, decided to book last minute for Christmas morning. Super accommodating from start to finish, easy to book and very delightful guides! I am overly impressed with their service; the guide Clay was extremely friendly and took time to point out historical facts when we stopped. He took time to make sure our experience was enjoyable, the ride was super easy on wide trails, anyone would appreciate from beginners to experienced snowmobilers. The ride was breathtaking, to be able to ride snowmobiles inside a volcano caldera around lakes on forested trails with mind-blowing scenery. Their equipment is new, easy to ride and loved the heated hand grips. Definitely a memorable experience for my family to experience. I'll be back with my wife again soon, pretty hard to beat this experience and their service! Great beer, great food truck experience—only surpassed by the knowledge and our affable guide. I’m coming back and will reach out again for another event. M1 contributionI recently had the opportunity of a lifetime with Wanderlust Tours in Bend, Oregon, and they truly delivered on their promise of providing fun and unique outdoor adventures. From the start, our tour guides radiated joy and enthusiasm, making the experience both exciting and welcoming. Their deep knowledge extended beyond the excursions to the rich history and charm of Bend itself. Talk about beyond impressed! It was clear to see and hear the passion behind their love and joy of what they do and represent.
The snowshoe tour was unforgettable—a journey through what felt like a scene from Narnia. The breathtaking landscapes and intentional focus on sustainability made the experience even more meaningful. Taking a break to enjoy hot cocoa and marshmallows while soaking in the beauty of nature was the perfect touch.
This tour not only deepened my appreciation for nature but also inspired me to practice sustainability when I return home to South Carolina. It was truly a 10/10 experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bend!
