- traveling_with_kathyLake Stevens, WA1,610 contributionsI love lighthouses and this one did not disappoint. It was $7 to enter. There’s a nice interpretive center before going to the lighthouse. There are restrooms, a small souvenir shop, help desk and an informative exhibit about life at the lighthouse a hundred years ago. There are two short films on a constant loop - one explaining the history and life at the lighthouse and the other focuses on the tide pools and birds of the area. Recommend people stop in before visiting the lighthouse.
The lighthouse sits a mile out. There are stairs down to the tide pools. The Oregon coast is beautiful and there is an abundance of beauty here.
