I love going to Perivale, Shannon has some wonderful artists featured there! There are always new, wonderful shows, and the artwork is switched up to see new pieces each time. I would highly recommend going- and more than once!

Excellent, well marked trail. The Lookout is amazing at the turn of the Red Trail Loop. The Blue Trail adds about 5 km more.

This is an excellent spot to take a walk and enjoy the falls. We didn’t hike very far, but we had a dip in the water, took some nice photographs, and found some neat fossils. The stairs to get down to the falls from the road is steep and long, so not good for strollers, or those with mobility issues. Up the road a bit there is a candy shop and bakery that sells ice-cream.

This is a beautiful very clean beach. So glad we stopped here. We were only on the island for 6 hours and it was suggested we stop here. Loved it.

The coastal Alvar trail is the most beautiful hike on the island. We were lucky to also spend over an hour at the visitor centre with park warden Brad, who told us all about the history of the island and the park. He was incredibly patient and is a fantastic asset to the facility -- the knowledge and passion he shared with us made the rest of the hike very meaningful. The education opportunities at the visitor centre are wonderful and so important to many of us who are unfamiliar with Manitoulin. Thank you Brad for making this trip even more worthwhile.

Lovely place With awesome atmosphere. Following the previous review: for health nuts! Dang right, and proud of it. This is real food that nourishes properly. Perfect portion. Right out of their garden. Very creative dishes. Check their menu online. Simply awesome.

Didn’t believe the reviews that you were given your own personal escort…..but how wrong I was! Just fabulous. Picked up by 4 dogs who took us up and down again. Stopped when we did, walked at out pace! No one else around meant this was special walk with beautiful views….well worth the effort to find the trail.

This small museum is an interesting thing to do on Manitoulin Island. The building seems to consist of a few different areas - in one area, there is a museum with beautiful artifacts and information about the broader First Nations in the area. Another area is a large crafts area where people learn to make neckaces and other local handicrafts. There is another area with art from local First Nations artists. Finally, there is a small exhibit on the Residential Schools.

You can visit in as little as 20 minutes or spend hours making the crafts. Learning about the Ojibwe was inspirational; seeing how they have overcome attempts to erase their culture was inspirational.

We had a pleasant experience at this spot. While it is just a spot to stop and enjoy a nice view, there are a few picnic benches and we made use of one. There is a hiking trail up here, but we didn’t take it.

Great beer selection. Hard to see the choices as the board was behind the bar. Food options are limited and spicey. Great selection of beer. Bought many to take home

Unfortunately it was cloudy on the day we visited, but definitely worth doing and only a few klicks outside Little Current.

Would give this 6/5 if possible. We visited every corner and every floor as well as the outdoor displays. The gentleman who was there on July 16 was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely worth the entry fee. We visited other places in the area because of what we learned at the museum.

Despite the cold, this was an amazing experience, just to walk around and take in the sound of the water. We were here during Easter weekend, so there wasn't any foot or vehicular traffic.

The lighthouse is small and cute, and the playground side of the marina seems to be a great place for family time when the weather is pleasant.

We took the Archeology Tour on Wed Sept 21. The trail has just opened in 2022 and is fabulous, well-maintained, interesting, informative. Tour started at 10am and all in all was about 2 1/4 hours.

The tour does involve walking, much of it uphill on a very very well kept trail.

There is wonderful scenery, and signage all along the way.

Good picnic spots at the public dock in Sheguaidah at the trail start.

What a great way to spend a couple hours! The kids absolutely loved it. This is a fantastic spot. Lake Mindemoya is shallow, Warm and has a Sandy bottom ...very impressed. I was also very pleased with how the staff dealt with a difficult client. They were courteous respectful and professional. Well done
