Cup and Saucer Trail is rated one of the best hikes in Ontario. We arrived early in the morning (~8:30am) even though it's off season (early October). We were one of the only cars in the parking lot. However, when we returned after hiking, about 2 hours later, the parking lot was mostly full. I'm sure during the peak season the trail is even busier, so best to arrive early.
There are 3 different trails. The red (Cup) is the main trail. This took us about 2 hours to complete. It has some elevation to hike making it moderately difficult, and a few spots where climbing requires a little bit of scrambling. The few "stairs" and "ladders" are also a little awkward. However, overall, the hike isn't too difficult and not very time consuming. And the effort is completely worth it as the lookouts are excellent. We chose not to hike the blue (Saucer) trail as it only had one lookout and is mostly just hiking through the woods.
The third trail is the yellow Adventure trail. This is a little bit more challenging, requiring you to enter and exit via "ladders". It's only about 0.5km long, so although it requires a bit of effort, it's not too bad.
The lookouts on the main trail are truly excellent. I definitely recommend this hike.

How the children can interact so closely with nature is wonderful. If you go when the salmon is spawning it is quite the experience. You can walk underneath those falls.

Made this a must-do stop after having several folks recommend it. So glad we stopped in. A fabulous curating of local artists, all exceptionally talented.

Found two pieces that really captured us, they're coming home to grace our living space.

If you only have time to do a couple of stops, make sure this is top of the list. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely remote area with unique beauty and geography. The beach is beautiful and the hiking trails are great. It’s very remote and not busy which is also nice. The water is so clean and clear. You will love it! Highly recommended.

Both the beach and the boardwalk are beautiful and lengthy. There is play equipment for kids and exercise equipment for adults. There is a place to get food but as it was late in the season, it was closed (there second week of Sept). Providence was extremely quiet by that time. Bring your food and drink and maybe a book and enjoy the area.

The trails here are quite nice, with some good lookout points. What makes this hike special are the trail dogs.
We arrived about 10am on a Saturday in early October. We were the only car in the parking lot. As we approached the lot our car was greeted by a pack of dogs barking at us. I had read about this hike though, and the involvement of trail dogs, so we knew to expect this. The dogs were wonderful, very friendly, and not begging or anything. They also barked very little, mostly from one dog who barked at the beginning of each leg of the hike as if to announce it. We hiked both the red Warrior trail and the yellow 3 Fires trail. We were accompanied by 4 trail dogs for the entirety of our hike. If we stopped to take pictures or eat a snack, the dogs would sit or lie quietly and wait for us to be ready to start again. They didn't beg or annoy us at all and were just lovely companions for the whole hike. They would occasionally run through the bushes looking for something, but they always returned and walked with us. Such a great experience.
The hike itself was very nice, but the dogs made it a really special memory.

Lovely place With awesome atmosphere. Following the previous review: for health nuts! Dang right, and proud of it. This is real food that nourishes properly. Perfect portion. Right out of their garden. Very creative dishes. Check their menu online. Simply awesome.

This is definitely worth a visit. It is the best place to get a good look at Gore Bay (the town) and the Bay itself. We drove up and found that everything had been set up to afford us the best view. We recommend that take the trail a few feet and see the second lookout as well.

Would give this 6/5 if possible. We visited every corner and every floor as well as the outdoor displays. The gentleman who was there on July 16 was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely worth the entry fee. We visited other places in the area because of what we learned at the museum.

We took the Archeology Tour on Wed Sept 21. The trail has just opened in 2022 and is fabulous, well-maintained, interesting, informative. Tour started at 10am and all in all was about 2 1/4 hours.

The tour does involve walking, much of it uphill on a very very well kept trail.

There is wonderful scenery, and signage all along the way.

Good picnic spots at the public dock in Sheguaidah at the trail start.

A nice museum summarising some of the history of Kagawong. Entrance was by donation. Not a huge museum but quite a lot packed into a small space.

Despite the cold, this was an amazing experience, just to walk around and take in the sound of the water. We were here during Easter weekend, so there wasn't any foot or vehicular traffic.

The lighthouse is small and cute, and the playground side of the marina seems to be a great place for family time when the weather is pleasant.

Took the girls here on a rainy morning and spent all morning and some of the afternoon learning the culture, making bracelets and enjoyed our time here
