Hiking the trails are enjoyable with some challenging spots. The Lookout Points are definitely worth the hike.

Glad I stumbled upon these falls online. Just had to visit. We could only stop for a bit though. I wish we could have stayed longer to swim/wade for a bit. It was very cool, being able to go behind the "veil". A lot of people were jumping from behind the veil to the pool. Parking is very limited, though it looks like there are more spots a bit further down the road. Alternatively, you could park at the beginning of the trail that leads to the falls, which seems like a pleasant little hike. Washrooms are available at the parking lot. You could probably make a nice day of it with the lakefront town of Kagawong and its amenities.

Lovely place With awesome atmosphere. Following the previous review: for health nuts! Dang right, and proud of it. This is real food that nourishes properly. Perfect portion. Right out of their garden. Very creative dishes. Check their menu online. Simply awesome.

A beautiful ecosystem to enjoy as you hike the terrain - a mix of coniferous and Carolinian forestscapes. This is a flat trail walk through wild forest spaces - incredibly peaceful and beautiful. When you reach the shoreline, you are met with pristine views amd breathtaking beauty. We had the trail, and the shoreline, pretty much to ourselves the day we hiked in. We were there to hike (no swimming for us, alas!) and we walked the Yellow trail in about 90-100 minutes, walking at a good clip. There is a longer 'red' trail (an additional 5km to our 7km loop) - alas, the blue trail was closed, sadly - was the trail we really wanted to explore.

During summertime jaunts, be sure you have plenty of water... it is a hot walk!

Highly recommend, make this hike one of your top three.

We came here from the recommendation of Nicolas from Wayside Motel, and were not disappointed. It was a fantastic journey! It brings you pretty high up to a bunch of vantage points that let you take in lots of very long, sweeping vistas. It was a relatively easy hike as well, even though it feels like you've travelled quite a bit because of how much the environment changes as you travel.

Because we entered from the side road ( caravan in golf club grounds) we did not see any maps. Signage therefore for us was inadequate. We ended up not knowing where we were but having a fantastic ride in hot weather and doing 12km. It is a great track and such a relief it is only one way track!!!!

Absolutely a beautiful waterfall, but that is all there is. Just a quick drive off highway 6. Takes only a couple minutes to enjoy the waterfall, take a picture, then be on your way. If you're driving by, definitely stop to see, but if you're not going to be in the area, don't make the drive.

Don't even bother trying to find this park. It is all closed off to the public! You can put your boat in at Michael's bay if you can find that tiny road way off Michael's bay road and go look at the land scape. It is not being cared for as a public park. It should not even be listed as one. Carter's bay is beautiful and completely closed off to the public as well. Don't waste your time!

We spent 2 nights in Camp Cabins and booked for dark sky preserve.

Pros- Staff were friendly. 2 stars were given for them

    Cons-

    - Paid for two bundles of fire woods which did not work. Ended up leaving them unused.
-The cabins were not cleaned and shabby, bugs and spiderweb, spiders everywhere
    - No professional from astronomy community was there as they advertised, too pricey , not worthy

Advice: Need to be little transparent with the customers and pricing should be checked.

I found out today, May 7, 2021, that new owner(s) of these trails have closed them to the public. I was greeted with signs stating: NO TRESPASSING, KEEP OUT AND PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I contacted the Manitoulin Expositor and they confirmed this.
More of Manitoulin is being marketed for residential and commercial development and I believe that these trails are yet another attraction removed by such developers.
So don't travel to Manitoulin unless you have verified everything you want to explore or visit is actually open to the public.
