Very interesting piece of history that helps you understand Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens. It doesn't take long for the self-guided tour. Use your imagination to fell what it would be like to live there amidst all the animals the family brought along with the sound of the ocean coming in the windows!

Smaller than I thought. No parking available. But historically good to drive thru. Did go thru the beach walk. Would be impossible during the season. Don't bother.

with some challenging holes, moderated, of course, by choice of tee box. Greens are in good shape and relatively flat. Lots of water to avoid and several holes with reasonable carry-overs. Beverage cart was scare.

We weren't able to go in but could see in the windows. Lovely church, lots of natural light. Serene and peaceful cemetery surrounding it.

Fantastic place with some amazing art. Really friendly and unpretentious staff that looked after my wife and I really well. Only reason for not buying is my luggage allowance !

This gallery is a gem! The art is displayed beautifully and as I walked from one artist's work to another's work I was simply amazed at all the local talent! I fell in love with so many, it was really hard to choose! I will return often to buy from this gallery. It is just refreshing to stop in and give yourself a moment to drink in what these artists captured!

Our son and now daughter in law were married there. Towards sunset, the tide was in and the sun setting was perfect for pictures. The chapel is small but in pandemic times, it was the right size for our small gathering.

Second course we played in Myrtle Beach. Course was in good condition. Waste bunkers were a tremendous help to my score. Course did back up relatively quickly and there is not much of a range. Would definitely play again.

This is a Dan Maples design in Pawleys Plantation on the site of an historic plantation. The live oaks were awesome (with the spanish moss) and there are many signs pointing out the history of the area. There was a nice practice area, including a large range and practice green and another green with a practice bunker, but the tees were not in great shape.

The straightforward design is classic "lay of the land" with very little elevation change, which makes sense for the coast, and was in good shape. There were only a few forced carries over water, which makes the course friendly for women golfers.

There is a good variety of holes, long and short and doglegs both ways and a few straight holes. The tees were a little long for a senior golfers and women and it would have been nice if they were a few hundred yard shorter, especially down here at sea level. Overall a nice round of golf.

This was my first visit at the Heritage Club and I am somewhat ambivalent as to whether I will play it again during future visits in the Pawleys area. The course was in excellent condition and the greens may have been the best of the 5 courses I played in the area this Spring. But despite large oak trees and a nice clubhouse, I someone find that the course lacks the « wow » factor. The other gentleman in our group, a much better golfer than me, cleary enjoyed the course.
