Really enjoyed walking around the lake and looking at the bridge. We didn't take full advantage of the park as it was a stop on a road trip, but it was gorgeous.

This was my 5th visit to the Cumberland County Playhouse. The performances are always great & all the seats offer a good view.
Today we saw "Beautiful" The Carole King Musical. A great tribute to Carole, highlighting all the great 60's songs she & her husband Gerry wrote at the Brill Building in New York City. Also her solo 70's career that produced the Grammy winning Tapestry album. The cast was amazing & Miss Heather McCall, as Carole, knocked it out of the park!

I bring company here when they are visiting from out of state so they can experience what local wines taste like. The tasting bar is very accommodating, friendly, and offers cheese crackers and fudge to pair with the tasting. Lots of fun.

Hostess was very knowledgeable spoke slow and answered all our questions. There was a 20 minute film that explained how the Homestead Act worked and the museum was a 20-30 minute walk through.

Great place with a lot of history. Two volunteers there showed us around they were former US Navy and were great to talk to.

Well organized, easy to scan without visual fatigue. Good variety and quality. Nothing particularly high-end.

There is an inviting disc golf range incorporated into the woodlands surrounding the lake. The course was designed and completed with the efforts of PLAYERS. If you play, check out the course.

We only stopped for a short time so we didn't avail ourselves to all that Cross fills had to offer....we drove over from Tellico Plains and the drive was lovely which I imagine would be the case from anywhere.
The highway leading into town goes to 1 lane thru the downtown area and can get busy but it is very nice and a good sized area.
On a Friday afternoon, parking was plentiful.
A nice leisurely stroll will take you past several restaurants, shops, museums and the playhouse.
Crossville is a large area and there are many things you may have on the do visit list but its an easy ride to get where you want to go.
Good couples or girls get away.

Love the scenery around the park! Watching the river run down the side of the walking path and just enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Would not recommend screaming and crying at a lovely little snake in their natural home like I did but would recommend enjoying the beauty of the nature.

Our GPS took us up the side of the mountain to a radio tower with a parking lot. It did not have signs as to where to start. But a small wooden building poked through the trees so we went in that direction. We followed the "white" markers and then broke off to the "yellow" markers. The colorful leaves made the trip spectacular.

We have never been to the speedway before while visiting Crossville and glad we did. It was a pleasant night doing something that we have never done before and that was go to the races watching the cars round the dirt track. It is very inexpensive and very enjoyable and we recommend it to anyone.

Stopped here looking for Winesap apples. The had several different kinds and you could purchase by pecks or bushel. The man inside was pleasant. Will return when in the area! Do not pass them by! Apples were delicious!

Beautiful 1/2 block-long mural. I found that there are now, at least, 4 more murals around the town. The largest is almost a block long, behind the building, across from the old refurbished depot. It's worth a leisurely stroll to see.

My fiancé and his mother are Crossville natives and were hurt by how much the flea market has changed. Of course we enjoy many flea markets and the variety of items they offer. We made a few great purchase helping locals. Wonderful handmade lemonade (that I drank from the rest of the day), a great variety of magnificent smelling candles and a few nicknacks in between. Only regret is not buying the gorgeous tomato they had (don’t think they’d handle car ride home well)
