He was so knowledgeable, funny, courteous, and thoughtful. The trip was much more than just seeing places from the Outlander movies. He helped us so much with our research on our Scottish ancestors. We are forever grateful to him for being so helpful and flexible. He's the Best! We will always remember that memorable day, and we are thankful to Andrew, who set it all up for us and helped us on our first day in Inverness. Fantastic company. - cynthia p1 contributionRyan Forbes, our guide and the company owner gave us an amazing tour of the countryside around Inverness. He picked us up promptly at 8am and spent 10 hours showing us his Highlands--as he is a local. He customized the tour for us as we visited sites and we both got to know each other better, and took us to some places few tourist see. He also was attuned to the tour bus crowds and helped us stay ahead or miss the crowds in some of the popular spots. The scenery he toured us through was beautiful, the drive was relaxing and he shared his knowledge of the Scottish history. He took us to every place we wanted to go and made it so fun. It was the most phantastic experience. Bill was always flexible and picking up our wishes and interests to make this a unique trip.
His outstanding knowledge of the area, the people and the history of Scotland made this a perfect introduction to this beautiful country.
Highly recommended!
