What travellers are saying
- old-man-orangeOrange, CT374 contributionsMy wife decided we needed to see a show - not just wander around Broadway seeking out local talent.
There complex with hotel and theater is very big and spread out, and we parked in the lot for $20 - if you get there early enough just park near Dave and Busters for free.
The night we went the show was 2.5 hours with Jelly Roll the feature artist.
It was a great experience in a beautiful setting - even for a guy who is only a mild country music fan.

- dianedinkyDunfermline, UK2,508 contributionsI thought this might just be a walk around to see the auditorium, take some photos and out again...but no! This is a full on tour to learn of all the history and find out some of the people who have been on stage here (many of them are surprising non-musicians).
There is also a small museum section with stuff such as Ray Charles old suit and early Elvis contact. Best of all, there is an immersive video show that goes all around the room and is very cool to hear about the beginnings as a church building.
Make sure to go to the stage for the photo opportunity before leaving - you pick up your snap at the gift shop up the street.Written February 26, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Covers full range of country musicians, early to modern, Well laid out.

It is quite relaxing to sit down nearby and have something to eat or drink while looking at the scenery. The gift shop was cool to see too.Written December 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sharon M1 contributionThis property is absolutely amazing! It was a refreshing contrast to the lights and activity on Broadway - it provides a great perspective on the way Tennessee used to be. We did the Bourbon Experience, which was fantastic, but also toured the grounds. It is a must-see!!Written January 2, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Staci BHouston, TX84 contributionsDowntown Nashville sure has changed since I lived there. I always loved Nashville and enjoyed going to downtown. There is still great live music everywhere you turn. It’s a bit crowded on the weekends, but it’s totally worth it. I suggest taking an Uber instead of a car. Parking is very expensive and was hard to find when we visited.Written October 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NKWSan Antonio, TX113 contributionsWe went on a day when it was bitterly cold. I wish I could have spent more time. The movie was well done. I especially enjoyed the museum and how it related Jackson’s history with more recent historical events. Very interesting to see a mansion which had been retained in its original form.Written February 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dianedinkyDunfermline, UK2,508 contributionsI see lost of reviews mention a chap called Ron...we didn't get him, however, our guide was just as engaging and really knew her stuff.
The draw is, of course, to be in the same room as Elvis and others stood - and there is even an X on the floor marking the spot with the best acoustics and so where the greats all stood.
But the tour is so much more than just going in to the room for a stand about. You learn the history of the place in a little room beforehand and hear some of the songs recorded there and some of the other artists who made it home - wasn't just Elvis.
There is also a chart with every single release by Elvis and it's surprising to note how many were relative flops eg just breaking the Top 50.
The highlight of the tour though is when the lights are all turned off to simulate the recording conditions Elvis used for Are You Lonesome Tonight, and then the raw edit of the song itself plays, complete with accidental head knock by Elvis onto the mic at the end! Great stuff.Written February 26, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DiverMJupiter, FL619 contributionsWe stopped by here on a weekday morning and the museum was not open We looked from the outside and walked around the park. There is also a phone audio tour to get more detail.Written February 15, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robin W26 contributionsAmazing little museum with tons of unique cars. While I am not normally a fan of automobile museums, this one was a pleasant surprise. The one-of-a-kind cars found in here were a break from looking at the usual cars found in these kinds of museums. The LARC out back was my favorite!Written February 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
