Preston was an interesting and informative tour guide. He grew up in Dallas, and his familiarity with the area and his extensive research into the Kennedy assasination made this emotional tour exceptional.

Our guide Tim was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was experienced and explained everything easily. We had a great 3 hour tour looking at all the places and spending time walking around sites.

This was the highlight of my trip to Texas. Visiting Fort Worth and the Stockyards was such a fun half day excursion. Ivan is so knowledgeable about the area and its history. He was such a pleasure. Cannot recommend this tour enough.

This was an option on our City Pass, so it was already paid for. We walked from Dealey Plaza over to the Hyatt Regency where the Tower is located. It was an interesting vantage point and the day was extremely windy and cold, so we did not stay long as it was just too unpleasant outside, and I was concerned that the wind would blow my camera out of my hand. Very pleasant inside, though and this place was not crowded when we visited.

Dan was an excellent guide full of knowledge about the cities past and present. Lots of info about the Kennedy assasination, architecture in the city, recommandations for other things to see and do, restaurants etc. Pointed out the best place to see the longhorns in Fort Worth and other things of interest there. Highly recommend.

Fun tour! We enjoyed all the sightseeing, but would have enjoyed more history. The stop at the Farmers Market was a highlight! The final stop talking about JFK was fascinating.

I've zip lined many times before, mostly on vacation, and in comparison TFAP did not disappoint! There are different zones that are color coded based on difficulty (yellow = easiest, black =hardest), my sister and I completed every course and the views were amazing! If you like a free fall, there's a "drop" on Blue 2 and an even bigger drop on Black so prepare. Oh, and if you want back to back ziplining there's a course at the end that is soo much fun!

Better late than never! I booked this fantastic tour with Discover Dallas Tours back in October, but this review is long overdue.

My mom, who lives in France, came to visit me and my family in California for a few weeks. Before she flew back home, I wanted to create a special memory together. So, I surprised her with a weekend getaway to Dallas!

We had a blast exploring the JFK Museum and the Fort Worth Stockyards, but the highlight of the trip was definitely our visit to Southfork Ranch.

After researching several tour companies, I decided Discover Dallas Tours was the perfect fit. This family-run company stood out because Rebecca, the owner, personally called me after I inquired online. Even though the website didn't show availability, Rebecca was able to organize the perfect private tour of Southfork Ranch for us. She confirmed everything clearly via email and text message, including pick-up details and timings.

Importantly, they are the only private tour company authorized by the owners of Southfork Ranch, making the experience even more special.

The price was absolutely worth it. Erin, our guide (Rebecca's daughter), picked us up at our downtown hotel in a comfortable black SUV and drove us to the ranch. During the ride, Erin shared interesting facts about Dallas, the history of Texas, cowboys, the Fort Worth Stockyards and Longhorns. She even stopped at the Southfork Ranch gate for memorable photos before we arrived.

Since my mom doesn't speak English, Erin found a comfortable and quiet spot for us to sit and provided detailed information about the ranch and the show. Erin was very patient, giving me plenty of time to translate everything for my mom. Her stories were captivating, and it brought back so many memories for both of us – we used to watch the show together every week back in France!

The tour included a visit to the on-site museum at Southfork Ranch, where we saw photographs, magazine and newspaper clippings, props used in the show, and the famous gun used in the episode "Who shot JR?". We also walked around the house, saw the swimming pool, and the table outside where the family had breakfast. For fans of the original series, it's interesting to know that the interiors you see on screen were actually sets, while the exteriors were filmed on location at the ranch! Erin explained why the interiors weren't filmed at the ranch (you'll need to take the tour to hear the full story). The second series and more recent ones used the ranch's interior for filming.

Erin was fantastic throughout the tour - friendly, patient, and attentive. She even took some great pictures of my mom and me. It was a perfect day for us. Thank you to both Erin and Rebecca!

Overall, this tour was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend Discover Dallas Tours to anyone visiting the Dallas area.

The trip was excellent with both our driver Orlando and Sammye the Stadium tour guide being extremely helpful, amusing and informative. I would recommend a visit for anyone into American football or the FIFA World Cup 2026 as the stadium will be a chosen venue for matches.

Loved Billion dollar row homes, Turtle Creek area, the Farmers Market for a restroom break, Highland Park, American Airlines Stadium, JFK, explanation of how JFK was killed. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, just enough time too, comfortable, clean and cold air in the van.

We bought the Dallas City Pass prior to our visit to see the eclipse since we planned a short stay here and had things to see. It is a great value and will save you some money if you plan to sightsee. We visited these places with our City pass purchase: Perot Museum, Reunion Tower, Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, and Dallas Zoo. Terrific value for $55.00. Our only complaint was that we could not always bring up the passes on our phone in spite of being connected to the internet and they have to be scanned at every venue you visit. For some reason, the tickets did not show at two places we went. In anticipation of that happening again, we took photos of the tickets and had to show those at the last location we visited, so we had a work-around, but the tickets should have come up on our phones until we had used them 4 times and it did not work like that. I suspect it was some computer glitch, but I still recommend City Pass if you are seeing multiple sights.
