The Historic Bus Tour and the Dolphin Boat Tour are must do’s if you visit the Island. There is no better way to take in the sights, scenery and history of Galveston than by taking these tours. On the Bus Tour you explore the island and on the Dolphin Boat tour you not only explore the wildlife but also get a wonderful tour of the harbor. If you book them at the same time, you even get a discount. And you can do them back-to-back. We were so fortunate to have had Pat as our historic bus tour guide and Captain Trent as our dolphin boat tour guide. And the bonus is the wonderful woman (I wish I could remember her name) that manages the bookings and operations from their kiosk on Pier 21. She was responsive on the phone as well as via email and helping us make arrangements and plan our trips. We already want to return for their haunted harbor and city tours. These tours help visitors round out their historic understanding of this wonderful Island in comfort and at a reasonable price.

Annette is full of historical knowledge of Galveston Island. She made the tour both interesting and fun. She even has her own collection of photos she has taken that she shares during the tour. Easy to book and easy to find. Plenty of area to park as well.

Beautiful historic home. Really liked the handheld device that allowed us to each go in our own pace, listening to Mary’s voice describe her experiences in the home she grew up in.
The construction on the roof repair didn’t impede our tour in any way.

Jay was a great tour guide. He gave us very interesting information about the mansions and the history. He also gave us info about local restaurants and other places. The muffalettos at Maceo's Spice and Import Co were so good!

My group and I enjoyed this tour with Jeff very much! It was a great way to escape the heat, hear the many historical stories of Galveston's rich past and sample some of the
islands best cocktails. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

We came to Galveston for Mardi Gras and wanted to do things we wouldn't normally do at home. Nathan, our pilot, was wonderful! He told us about the planes construction and all of the sites we were going to fly by. Being able to see all the things we normally do on the ground from the air was not only amazing but breath taking as well.

I'm a local with out-of-town friends who visited. Galveston has such a rich history and unique visuals. Walking the Strand, I often say to myself ... "if only these buildings could talk, imagine the stories they would tell." Jay, our tour guide, became the voice of those buildings and brought history to life as he shared fun stories with us. He gave me, and more importantly our guests, something special to remember about the character and life of this amazing, old and quintessentially "American" town. The walking pace was determined by the least mobile person in our group, which was good, but you will need to be able to walk a mile or two between parking, meet up and tour. Recommend!

The company offices in downtown houston are excellent, and the check-in process was easy. We started out on the open top bus with Ben as our tour guide. Ben is friendly and professional and has a great knowledge of the city. It was very informative, and as it was a Sunday, there was no traffic to contend with. The tour is mainly buildings and murals and is a non-stop ride of just over an hour. We then transferred to a comfy minivan and drove an hour to Galveston Island. This is a lovely day trip with quant shopping on the strand and great restaurants on the pier. Ben prebooked a table at Katie's Seafood house so we didn't have to wait for anyone that wanted to go, but it was optional. Our group opted to eat here, and it's highly recommended. All in all a good day out.
