This was a great way to spend 4 hours. We got our general admission tickets and mission control tickets on line and arrived basically when the museum opened on a Monday. It was fairly busy and our mission control tour tram was full. I suggest you buy your tickets online since the line for tickets when we arrived was long. You pay for parking when you arrive using your phone and a QR code. The museum itself is easy to tour with the main steps being the shuttle. If you take the mission control tour there are 87 steps to get up to the control room. There is an elevator, but not sure how big it is and they move through the presentation , so you may risk missing it if you arent first on that elevator. There is also an elevator for the levels of the shuttle.

Keep an eye out for cards advertising the space center at your camp ground or hotel for $5 off.

There is a large cafe area in the museum, and ample bathrooms scattered about.

The rocket park tram tour is free but you do have to sign up for it. You cant get over there by yourself on foot.

A very good learning place about TX and the oil business and other from of power, ie Wind, solar, Hydro and Nuclear. Also you can see the king tut mummies and other objects from 5000 years ago. Were you also you could see the Faberge eggs and other jewelry items on display?
$50 got use both in but there were a lot of side exhibits and shows which were all at an extra cost, some of them quite pricey. If you come as a family, you’re gonna lose an arm and a leg for the prices.

This business was incredible! The staff was super nice and they had everything you would want and need at check-in. It was our first time ever riding ATVs and they were patient with us. By the end, we felt like we could ride anywhere. The trails were awesome and so good!

Excellent tour from Diana who presented the historical facts in a fun and interesting way.

This was our first visit to Houston, this tour provided a good insight to the key people behind the cities key historic buildings and how the tunnels network have developed.

A really good use of two hours, highly recommended for visitors to the city and locals.

It rained the first 10 mins of our tour, then the sun came out brightly. The rest of the tour was great. The guide was very informative and I learned alot about Houston. Everyone was nice.

We spent a night outside of Houston before a graduation ceremony in College Station and really enjoyed our recent trip to the Museum! Parking in the garage was easy and it linked to the museum complex through indoor passages. The museum was a nice size, and we happened to be there on Thursday, when it was open late and was free —which was much appreciated after the fairly high entrance fee at the Johnson Space Center.

It was nice to see many young people there enjoying the museums, too. The employees were all very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit here! We also visited the contemporary art building.

I like to visit museums whenever I travel and this was really nice.

This walking tour was wonderful! Our guide, John, was very personable and knowledgeable! We learned so much about the history of Houston as well as many of the beautiful, historical buildings and the graffiti art all over downtown. It was time well spent and would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

This would be an excellent experience in Spring or fall not in the mid of summer. We chose to visit Natural Science Musuem, Fine Art Museum, Aquarium, Space Center and Kamak Board walk. The museums and aquarium were just OK but not the other out door activity-requiring activities. I highly recommend the fina art museum and aquarium

Our group had an absolutely incredible experience with host, Erin Pollet’s, haunted ghost walking tour! Erin is a phenomenal guide—knowledgeable, kind, and full of captivating stories that brought the spooky history of the area to life. She struck the perfect balance between fascinating facts and eerie tales, keeping us entertained the entire time.

One of the best parts? We could bring our dog along! Erin was so gracious and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable for everyone in our group (including our furry friend).

My friends and I had an amazing time—it was the perfect mix of thrills, history, and fun. If you’re looking for a ghost tour that’s both dog-friendly and unforgettable, Erin Pollet is the guide for you. Highly recommend!
