- Diz8i869 contributionsWright's Mountain and Devil's Den boasts beautiful trails and spectacular views but the love put into the stewardship of this place really makes the difference.
We've had hours of enjoyment hiking many of the trails, some meandering, some difficult. You could spend all day here, but most seem to follow the 1.5 mile trail up to the lookout cabin. The views of the valley below and mountains beyond are quintessential New England and gorgeous even when foliage isn't at it's peak.
There is flora, fauna and wildlife, rock formations and a composting toilet! What more could you need.
On this hike it was drizzling rain, not the best for views but still a wonderful hike. The trails are well wooded, so good hiking even in the heat (bring water). Family productions are a requirement. Volunteer board. (Disclosure-I am treasurer.)
