The whole experience was great from start to finish. Our tour guide Georgio was a delight and full of knowledge, the wine was really good and the lunch was lovely too! I’d say definitely skip breakfast if you’re coming for the lunch experience as it was a lot of food but all of it delicious. Was one of the highlights of our holiday!

Fantastic winery and family. We had the good fortune of arriving on bottling day. The father, Fernando, and his daughter Alessia could not have been more gracious. The winery is a small 12-acre family-owned winery which has a long history. The wine is spectacular. If you are looking for an authentic family-owned and run winery, that produces an outstanding wine and welcomes guests, I highly recommend Montefioralle.

This winery tour was a delightful experience, offering an exquisite tasting session paired with locally-sourced foods that perfectly complemented the wines. Highly recommended!

Wonderful small winery that produces about 17,000 bottles a year. We made reservations beforehand and then waited for another group for about 15-20 min to start the tour and they never showed. Another couple happened to come after we had been on tour about 10 min so they were nice to include them but then we almost started the tour over which was nice for the new couple, but made a long tour for us.

The wine is delicious. The views from the terrace where the tastings are is gorgeous.
The snacks they served with the tastings of six wines was more of a fabulous meal! Meat, cheeses, olive oil, special bread and then bread with a fabulous sausage concoction on top!

The owner,Paola, came and chatted with us. He is very creative and ambitious with his plans for new grapes and new wines for the future. Good to see a small winery doing so well! We are so happy that we included this winery in our itinerary! We purchased some wine to take home to enjoy after our trip!

Totally enjoyed our visit and tasting!! A very relaxed approach to exploring a wide variety of wines. We also enjoyed hearing about the various terroirs where the wine comes from, and experiencing the nuance of this in our tastings. Unhurried and comfortable, we saw the barrel aging cellar and private bottle cellar.

We can confirm that much to our dismay this place is closed as Stephano passed in his sleep in January 2020 due to heart attack

The problem with wine tasting at most estates is that you are locked into whatever that estate produces and that one is not always interested in tasting 5 different wines from one estate. Moving between estates takes time, often requires booking and may involve significant tasting fees. In my opinion, Enoteca Falorni is the best tasting option and has several major advantages over the wine estates:
    1) It is located in Greve in Chianti which is easy to get to and offers other things to do and see for those in the group who are not interested in wine tasting.
    2) It allows you to sample the same grape variety from several vineyards which I find a more useful and educational experience.
    3) At between 2 and 7 euro per wine tasted, it is a far more cost-effective option than most vineyards tasting fees, especially when some members of the party want to taste 2 wines and other 8 wines.

Diego, the wine maker, gave us an amazing tour. The grounds are simply stunning! After our tour, we had lunch in a private room. The food was out out of this world and Diego matched the wines perfectly with the food. This was a fantastic lunch! After lunch, we were able to relax on the patio with a glass of wine. We stayed in Panzano for the month of September and we visited many wineries. Out of all of the tours, this one was the memorable! Thank you Diego for creating such a fond memory for us!

Went here during the Panzano wine festival. The wines were very good and we bought several bottles. Andrea and son were very nice. I recommended them to our wine store for possible contact

Katherina was an outstanding host. She made the experience very comfortable in the manner by which she educated us in the wines of the region. The tasting included olive oil which was as good as the wine. We walked away very happy, and, several bottles of wine and olive oil.

We had our wedding reception/wedding weekend at Fattoria Viticcio at the end of June 2023 and it was the perfect venue. Having looked around many many venues around Tuscany, Viticcio offered exactly what we wanted and as an added bonus was much more reasonably priced.

We welcomed our guests staying at Viticcio on Friday and Matteo gave everyone a tour of the winery and a fantastic wine tasting with lovely Tuscan meats and cheeses. It was the perfect way to welcome our guests and you have exclusivity of the venue with the wedding package.

With full use of the venue, on the wedding day we had aperitivo on the lawn, dinner in the courtyard and dancing under the sunset on the bbq area. Lorena pulled everything together on the day from ensuring tables were correctly set, having the band in the correct locations, all signs put up and coordinating timings!

Sunday we took advantage of the lovely pool to have a pool party overlooking the Tuscan hills and Viticcio were more than happy to let us bring in a DJ and Sax for no additional cost.

Apartments range from one bedroom to four bedrooms and all are air conditioned with amazing views. All but two have full kitchens which allows guests to keep some food in if they get hungry. As part of the wedding package on two mornings lovely breakfast baskets are provided with sweet and savoury pastries along with milk and juices.

As a fully working winery producing wonderful Chianti Classico's, Vermentinos and a Rosé we had brilliant wines on the wedding day!

As an English couple who do not speak much, if any, Italian it really was not an issue. The team at Viticcio have perfect english and were always more than happy to help out when we needed to translate something to an Italian supplier. Throughout the 9 months planning our wedding Lorena and the team at Viticcio could not have been more helpful, in particular suggesting local vendors for the day and ensuring everything was in place for the weekend!

Viticcio is just a short drive or 20-30 minute walk into Greve, allowing guests the chance to walk into town to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine in the square.

In summary it was our dream wedding and could not imagine a better venue in Tuscany to have had it at!

If you are near Greve in Chianti, do yourself a favor and book a tour or tasting (or just stop by for a glass). The wines are excellent. The tour was unique (a great example of a small vineyard). The view is epic and the renovations have made the estate inviting and pretty. The staff were friendly and helpful, even brining out toys for the 3 and 6 year olds in our group. We visited other small vineyards (under 15000 bottles a year) and this was by far the best experience.

We had never really been fond of Chianti wines, but we love Tuscany and decided to try this winery. What a wonderful time we had!! We loved the wines and Susanna was a wonderful host. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the biodynamic process they use to produce the wines is fascinating. In an area dotted with wineries, this one is a must! Thanks Susanna!

Was on a halfday winetasting trip to Chianti, and this was one of the places we visited. Very charming winery and staff, excellent wine and produce from their farm. I've been on quite a few similar, but this was the best wine we sampled (my personal opinion). As it's biological, and produced in small quantities, it is of course expensive, but I still had to buy some wine and vinegar back home - and I saw others doing the same. Well worth a visit. It is also possible to stay there.

Il Palagio di Panzano falls into that perfect "Goldilocks" zone of Italian villas in that it is JUST RIGHT!

The rooms perfectly blend modern comfort with the rustic beauty of an Italian villa, so you don't miss out on any comforts and conveniences, like delicious breakfasts delivered to your room, or their crystal blue pool overlooking the vineyards, but you also feel like you're stepping back into history as you look at the exposed beams and beautiful stonework.

It has the benefit of sitting on a working winery so you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape and views of the surrounding countryside (and incredible wine!!!) but it's also located only a few hundred meters outside of the fairy-tale village of Panzano, so it is an easy and picturesque walk into town to shop and dine, without having to drive everywhere. Our moonlit walks back to the villa after a delicious dinner in the village are some of our most treasured memories!

The proprietors Monia and Franco are absolutely wonderful, and they and their staff create an environment that makes you feel welcome and valued.

My wife and I have stayed there on several occasions and have stays booked for this fall and next year.
