Pedro and Silvia were such kind and friendly hosts. Both born and raised in Porto, they shared all there was to know about each of the 6 bridges and the river, and life in Porto. In March, it was a little chilly on the water, but they had more than enough blankets for the passengers to stay warm. There's an inside part of the boat where you can sit and enjoy the view, or you can stay on the outside. Plenty of room. They also had a free drink and small snacks for us.
It was a beautiful day out and we got a marvelous sunset view. Even on a rainy day, if you don't have other plans in Porto, a rainy afternoon cruise with Pedro and Silvia on the inside of their boat may still be a cozy and interesting adventure if you want to learn more about the Douro River, Porto. the surrounding cities, and life in Portugal. These guys are the best. Will definitely recommend to friends and familiy who get to visit Porto in the future.
