- DotsGirl2Vancouver, Canada311 contributionsWe loved this boat tour of the Western Brook Pond which is really a large lake surrounded by fjords. The scenery was wonderful and the interpreters were friendly and interesting. It is a 3 k walk down to get the boat along a trail that is well marked. It was a little cold on the top deck so bring extra layers.Written June 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DotsGirl2Vancouver, Canada311 contributionsLoved this park. We enjoyed the discovery Center and did the Table Land Trail. Make sure you go all the way to the small waterfall. Make sure you stay at least two daysWritten June 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JFLeBlancMoncton, Canada3,303 contributionsTrail was very nice, clean, well maintained by Parks Canada. Big parking lot to accommodate lots of vehicles. Views were great! I highly recommend this place!Written September 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kathy K13 contributionsThis is a LONG hike, very rough scrabble up the face of the rock scree but the hardest part is the trip down which takes hours, our hike took approximately 9 hours, go prepared! The views were magnificent!Written December 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cathy BLakefield, Canada178 contributionsThere is a nice little hike here, with multiple sets of stairs down to the water. You could hike anytime, but the lighthouse is only open during specified hours during the day.Written September 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TMG19 contributionsWas a very cool experience to enjoy with my boyfriend although it isn’t the easiest of things to find! Lots of weird and different rocks to see! I have never saw this type of rock anywhere else in Newfoundland. You can start at the beginning of the beach and make a little walk of it as well!!Written August 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jill836st.john's115 contributionsReally enjoyed Tempting Providence. The new theatre is beautiful. I was advise against buying tickets in row E. There is no elevation between row D and E , unlike all the other rows. My view was obstructed by the patrons in the row in front of me.Written July 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- mark h18 contributionsWe were surprised at how well done this center was. We caught most of the guided tour which was excellent & very informative. Unfortunately a bus tour arrived and our guide had to leave us to finish on our own. Exhibits are well done. We are glad we stopped in. A couple of points, the center closes from 12-1:00 for lunch at this time of year and there is a set admission charge. We paid $7.50 each as seniors.Written September 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mama DSt. John's, Canada31 contributionsThere is a playground just off the beach. the beach is spotless, and the national park is building new bathrooms on the site. Mean for flying kites and paddling in the waves. This is my version of heaven on earthWritten August 5, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- JFLeBlancMoncton, Canada3,303 contributionsVery nice trail, right from the discovery centre. The trail goes up the mountain that gives an awesome view. Very well maintained by Parks Canada staff.
I highly recommend this trail to anyone who is capable of hiking big steep hills.Written September 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - mokinator10Canada280 contributionsSo clearly I had no idea what a brook was...cause brook gets me to think of a trickle of water. The falls were amazing....and the noise of them sneaks up on you as you arrive.
Hike (9.65 km) was fairly easy through both open landscapes, thick forest, and sparse bush...really interesting...with terrific solid boardwalks over boggy areas...pretty easy footing. Only when you get to the falls area does it get more soggy and muddy and steep...but there are stairs...making it a bit more challenge...but the hike is so worth it.
We also went to the moose exclosure on our way out...interesting to see what the landscape would look like without them around. We even enjoyed hiking with lady moose for a section.
In late October we saw only two people at the end of the entire hike...heavenly.Written October 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - JFLeBlancMoncton, Canada3,303 contributionsRecentlt did this trail. - Coastal0021595884115 contributionsGiven our weekend trip to Gros Morne got rained out by Hurricane Elsa, the museum was a welcome activity for our young kids today. The young girl working was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great gift shop with locally homemade crafts and goods.Written July 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
