What travellers are saying
- Mary Kay K3 contributionsGreat variety of salsas, jams, baked goods as well as home decor items for Halloween, Christmas and general. Very attentive staff, prices are reasonable and their home grown apples are varied and fabulous with freshly sliced tasting available. We never miss going to Seaquist when in Door County and recommend you do the same,Written September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RidgelineRabbit23 contributionsThis is a nice, quiet spot on the water in the middle of Sister Bay's shopping and dining area. We saw they had a Thursday evening concert, which was very good. You can bring lawn chairs. There were even some people jumping from the pier into the cold water. Our only disappointment was that dogs are not allowed at the park. For this reason we sat at the perimeter and were still able to enjoy the evening.Written September 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RGCGNew Lenox, IL131 contributionsWe go to Door County every fall but have not stopped in this gallery. We stopped this year and were impressed with the outstanding photographs displayed. Every picture is perfect. I am in awe of such talent. We selected a 16X24 metal photograph and Heather worked with us to ensure we got the mount we wanted. Heather is so talented and a pleasure to work with. I highly suggest you stop at this gallery to see her work.Written November 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shannon W14 contributionsGorgeous beach. Not crowded and very clean. The water is so clear that you can view the bottom as you can see from my photos! My kids rented paddle boards and had a great time as well.Written August 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mindy and Roger AJanesville, WI590 contributionsGreat place to relax, have a cold beer and listen to LIVE MUSIC! Every weekday all summer long, live music from 3:00 to 6:00. Lots of tap beer options to fit every taste. They also offer beer flights. Plenty of outside or inside seating. Have your LAWN CHAIRS available in case there is a large crowd. Drink options available for those who prefer something other than beer.
Located on Hwy 42 on the south edge of Sister Bay. Driveway to the Peach Barn is just before or after the Floral Shop depending on your direction. Driveway is easy to miss. About 100 yards off Hwy 42. ENJOY!!Written August 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Certainly one won't find many (or any) boats at this time of year, but the views are still beautiful and impressive.
This year we found the ice still having a hold on the water; so it was fascinating to watch as the Bay was in the process of shedding its frozen mantel.
This is yet another vantage point where one can watch the Sister Bay environment emerging from its winter respite; and preparing for the seasonal onslaught.Written April 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s clearly the highlight of both the dogs and the owners day. Lots of dogs for my dog to play with and just a very social atmosphere.Written August 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dawn MDurham, NC49 contributionsThis is a hidden gem with 15 historic buildings from around Door County including a wonderful collection of vintage furnishings, tools, photos, and artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries. Best of all, knowledgeable and friendly volunteer guides are on hand to walk you through the buildings and explain what you are seeing. Please note that this museum is also called "The Old Anderson House Museum and Corner of the Past." Be sure to check and see if any events are taking place during your stay. We were lucky enough to attend the ice cream social with live music.Written July 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vicki ZWheaton, IL107 contributionsBeing Russian Orthodox I wanted to see this. It truly is nestled behind a house. Look for the chapel sign in the lawn and follow the path back. Wonderful church to sit in and pray and reflect.Written August 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jordan W1 contributionSigning up for Deanna's Art class was a huge gamble on my part. I had no idea what i or my Fiancee were in store for. I am far from being an artistic person but with a talent like Deanna's teaching us i all of a sudden i knew that the skies are the limit. Deanna was not only thee absolute best teacher we've could've asked for but also her hospitality was 2nd to none! I high suggest this class to anyone of any age! We will definitely be going back to one of her all day classes.Written August 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Odyssey1709801 contributionThe owner, Keith Clayton is open and gregarious about his work and that of the other artists he displays. Often, his workshop is open to touring. When you go, just ask. Over the years we have purchased pieces from his collection and have never tired of their places in our home.Written August 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve S3 contributionsOur family had a wonderful time at Stoneboat Farm. The kids were able to ride, pet and feed Bactrian camels with very gentle temperaments. Stoneboat Farm is a beautiful estate in Sister Bay, run by a friendly, knowledgeable family. We simply had a blast. There are horses and a kangaroo as well. We highly recommend an hour visit to this treasure of Sister Bay--adds another dimension to a trip to Door County. Where else can you interact with camels, then head off to the beach or boating?Written August 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
