The education center has a lot of interactive displays that children would like. The 10 minute video provided lots of information about the work behind the scene that takes place. We were able to spend some time with the guide/educator who answered our questions and provided more information. We were able to buy feed ($.25) and feed some trout in the lower pond. - MissPeggy55Columbus, OH26 contributionsWe initially found Lauritzens Sport Shop while just ambling around through Wisconsin. I was reading and looked up to something to my husband and noticed it out the window. We were all excited, because it's our last name, too!
The owners were so welcoming as we talked about the origins of the Lauritzens. We picked up a few groceries, looked at the hunting and fishing supplies and clothing, and looked over the great stock of guns and ammunition.

We were there the weekend of State fair so we weren't able to ride horses. The two piece came with one side (potato choice, salad or soup) and the three piece came with two. Also Cole slaw and rye bread. They said they have a daily special.
