Our kids really loved it, they loved the animal displays and the layout of the museum, as it was organized in a way that kids could follow easily.
Families, couples, children will LOVE this museum and there is so much to see!

The kids loved the Draper National History Museum and the Raptor Encounter, my husband could have spend hours at the Cody Firearms museum, and I loved the Plains Indian and Buffalo Bill museum.

This is an excellent museum about the Plains Indians it is very interesting very detailed and very historic certainly would recommend taking the time to see it even interesting for small children as they will lear...

A great stop, I highly recommend making this part of you vacation plans ... even if you have kids, they will be thrilled with looking down the dam spillway.

Dead Indian Summit Overlook

you will come to this pull out at dead indian summit on the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway just before going down the switchbacks, if you have young kids bring a bag of sunflower seeds and the chipmunks will come up...
It affords great landscapes as well as great scenery for photo shoots for families.

I loved seeing the cabin that Butch Cassidy the Sundance Kid and the Hole in the Wall gang hid out in, Curly's cabin (General Custer's Indian scout), as well as the burial place of Jeremiah Johnston.
Each building is full of artifacts from the time, i.e. there's a trappers hut, a blacksmiths, they even have the Whole in the Wall cabin that Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid used as their hideaway in the hills.

It is a great place to ride boats and go inter tubeing with friends and family and it is a great place to go fishing and to have a a picnic
