Just wow. Sand is hot. But wow. Get there before 8. There are a few spots available to those not staying at the resort. Snorkeling is fabulous

We enjoyed this beach setting. The beach in this bay had the most calm water we encountered on our trip. The beach sits on a small strip of land between the bay and a small lagoon. If you walk past the lava lava beach club restaurant, you will likely encounter sea turtles. There are restrooms and lots of palm trees. Parking was easy and a short walk away. This is also known as A Bay beach and Waikoloa beach.

We were staying at the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Club.........very close to the Island Gourmet store....but after seeing their prices, we decided to try Foodland Farms at The Shops at Mauna Lani instead. SO glad that we did!

Very friendly staff, better pricing, and a great variety of wines, deli items, produce, and local items. Definitely worth a stop!

Nice petroglyphs within short walking distance. Unfortunately some vandalism. Also atomosphere weird since it was in the middle of the golf course.

I have been there numerous times, last one November 2019. Vera and her husband are great people! Always fine artwork to look at and purchase! If you miss Hawaii like I do, can't wait until this is over so I can safely hop a flight and return to my favorite place to visit, just get on Vera's email list. You may see a piece of artwork that catches your eye and reminds you of your past vacations. If you do, just buy it!!!!! Ya need to bring the Aloha to your home for awhile!!!!🌈🌞🌸🏵️🌺🌸🌊

We liked Kings Shops but personally liked Queens Market Place better it had more stores and a better variety. The stores were not very interesting to us but the General Store was 10/10 we loved it! We probably went 5 different times and I would like to give a shoutout to Delson who works at the General Store he was so nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Overall I only go for the General Store I don't really like the other places.

My daughters and I stopped in here today. We all loved the owner, Vera. She was so kind with my daughter who was looking for a gift for her friend’s birthday. She showed us several pieces until we found the perfect one. My youngest also bought a lovely pearl bracelet. We loved hearing about the artists. The owner has a kind soul. Stop in and visit…you might find a treasure to take home,

A friend told us about this tour which happens on the first Friday of each month. The tour took about 90 minutes and was extremely informative. We learned so much about the native plants and efforts to restore the area. I loved that the two trees are so different: the Williwilli is so lightweight you can hold a large piece of the wood in one hand. The Uhiuhi wood is so dense, it does not float and natives used it to make tools.

It was sad to learn about the fire grass which is invasive -- and even the goats don't eat it so difficult to get rid of.

A bonus was seeing the sunset at the end.

Our friends volunteered on another day and helped plant trees. They really enjoyed this.

They do not charge for the tour but ask for a donation.

We have been in this gallery before but not purchased. This last trip we had a great chat with CJ and he gave us an amazing deal because of our very low value Canadian $. The piece arrived quickly and in perfect condition. If you want a beautiful piece of art for your home that will remind you of the island, this is the place to go. Thank you CJ !

It’s a misnomer to call this a Farmer’s Market when there is just 1 location that actually sells from grown produce and fruits. There are a couple other vendors selling locally produced jellies and honey but other than that it’s just a few local artisans trying to sell their work. It took us all of 10 minutes (if that) to wander through. It’s as if the purpose of this “Farmer’s” Market is to get people to wander into the permanent shops on location. Not really impressed

Thanks to the one other reviewer of this trail on Trip Advisor! I wouldn't have known about it otherwise, and what a great way to get between Mauna Lani Point and the Kings' Shops and Queens' Marketplace. From where my husband I stayed at the Mauna Lani Point condos, it was a 2-mile walk each direction for us. The trail is very rocky and fully exposed to the sun the entire way, so we wore our trail shoes and took plenty of water. It was a very quiet trail and fun way to explore the area!
