There are many great spots to stop when driving along the southeast coast of Oahu and this is one of the best places. Beautiful spot with terrific surrounding scenery. This is a surfing beach. Surf was up when we visited in March, and it was pretty cool to see the locals out doing their thing. There is also a nice vista point along the road just east of here offering a great photo opportunity called the Makapu'u Lookout with plenty of parking.

I found this beach from word of mouth through a co-worker. There are two sides to this beach. There is the public side that is only open Friday-Sunday, and there is the military side which you can only access if you are able to get on military bases. The sand is white and the water is blue. There is also a lifeguard. On the public side there is plenty of space to park and camp, as well as BBQ. On the military side they have a large parking lot with an outdoor shower, restrooms, and a covered picnic area. There were plenty of people here enjoying all that this beach had to offer, but it is so much less crowded than the other beaches of its likeness. If you are on this side of the island I highly recommend Bellows beach as an alternative to the many other public beaches.

A nice little marine park that could use an update. We stopped in before the Luau and we could have done it in 1hr. My boys, 12 & 9, enjoyed it but tired of it after an hour. The turtles, the shark feeding and the dolphin show were the highlight. It was fine but not a must see.

This is a gorgeous beach park!!! The areas of beachfront along the coast once you leave the park area has trees and shade. A real beautiful treat and respite from the heat and heavy tourism of Waikiki! Love this park and will try to visit again in the future!

Located on Waimanalo Bay and adjacent to Waimanalo Beach. This is a very long sandy stretch that doesn't get too busy during the week. Busier on weekends I've read. Plenty of parking. The only negative was the homeless encampment on the south end of the beach and the reports of theft at nearby Waimanalo Beach.

Honey cream pineapple is the best. Never had that sweet pineapple before. Other tropical fruits are also good.

Customer service non existent, but the amazing collection of fruits make up for that deficiency!

Well, if I were to get married again, I'd consider coming here. The chapel and the scenery are beautiful for that once or twice or three time in a lifetime event. The chapel is located at the entrance of Sea Life Park and it overlooks the park and the ocean. Beautiful setting!

We did the lighthouse stroll a few days before and saw people heading down the mountain for the tide pools, read about it and decided to give it a go. The way down was a challenge, and the trail can be less obvious at times, but the end points are obvious so it’s not too bad. Fairly steep decline on the way down, most people seem to rate it intermediate, which seems about right. Tide pools themselves are crystal clear and beautiful. Stunning back drop and deep enough to jump in at points. I wish I’d brought water shoes to feel more comfortable walking around, there are definitely sea urchins in the crevices, but easy enough to avoid. I’d recommend checking the tide table before heading down so not to go during high tide or rough waters. We’ll worth it trek and I’m so happy we did it.

Across the water from the pier is Rabbit Island. From places on the road you can see the pier and it has some great backdrops for photo ops. This is also the pier that was on Magnum PI where TC had his helicopter.

Very friendly staff. The little Beer Garden is now open and the sandwiches were super fresh and good. Upper driving range deck seems at a slope with the ball being lower than your feet and they are hitting off matts. Didn’t try bottom deck. Most of the front nine greens were in rough shape with patches of grass missing. Back nine greens were in pretty good shape. Very slow greens. Fairways were all in quite rough shape with various types of grasses, some thick, some longer, etc. Sand traps were hard packed and wet but playable. Beautiful views inland towards the ridges. Many birds and other wild life. A good value for Oahu golf courses when the cost is factored in against the course shape. Would drive out there again just to get a sandwich! Good course to warm up for more expensive golf courses and would return to play again.
