I’ve seen Friends and Sex and the City Live here. Both shows were epic!! They will take pictures after the show. Staff is really friendly.

Amazing mashup nights. Come before 10 for $10 cover otherwise it is $20. You can always get tickets online at cheaper price. If they have popular artists mashup night the line can go around the block even at 10 pm. They have a pizza place right next to it which is decent for midnight snacks!

Easy to park. Great local bands. You can be in the pit or by the bar or away from the action and sit in the back.

Instead of saying that you will put on a pair of skates and roll around the interior of what used to be a consecrated catholic church

Playland is a loud, crowded, and pack with young hip hop kids. You can get a table here with bottle service . It's not a fancy place. But a cool bar to get your groove on

We joined some friends here for dinner one night and thought we were in the wrong place, but it turned out we had found a gem! The bar in front is very reminiscent of a speakeasy, with fantastic cocktails. And the cozy restaurant in the back offers some good jazz to go along with some really great food! The seafood tower was surprisingly good, the burgers are fantastic and the service was friendly and prompt. Will be back!

It's very hard to find this place as we had to travel down an alley to get to it. Once in, it was very artistic and almost taboo. We had a spot upstairs reserved so we were ushered in. Upstairs was all in white with comfy seats and table. They brought out the champaigne with a cool firework to celebrate our party. Music was good but didn't really get good til later on. They had 2 women dancing along the wall. One did look like she was a few months prego. Interesting concept. When we left, you could see the dancers through a fogged/semi-tinted window. Very Burlesque in this club. I think if the music was better earlier on and we didn't have the upstairs area, I would have enjoyed myself a little more. It was way too crowded with the other group who reserved a spot too. I definitely think they should have done better with that. Music and drinks were as good as any other place. Atmosphere was very different than I've been exposed to. Wouldn't mind trying it again.

Good but not great, especially considering the drink prices. I've been coming here since the 90s. The place hasn't changed much. I love that there are several rooms with different music and atmosphere in each. I love that the bathrooms were modernized and are generally VERY clean. I love that they take credit cards at the bar for a single drink.

    Drinks are VERY expensive.

    Light show is very basic.

There's very little security here. No pat-downs. It would be very easy for someone to smuggle in a weapon. Given the security situation around the country, this is distressing.

Saw Corrosion of Conformity at Big Heart City in August 1991. We were from out of town and saw the show advertised on a handbill on the Blind tour. The club had techno dancing upstairs, Industrial on the main level and live thrash metal downstairs. Scott Ian introduced the band. There were eight inch wooden pillars, holding up the ceiling, in the middle of the mosh pit and people were getting creamed and bloody. There were fire sprinkler system pipes on the ceiling that we could grab from onstage then pull yourself out over the croud, let go and insert yourself inside the pit. The Accused were playing Oakland the same night. Everyone we met was suprised we were in town for the Grateful Dead concerts at Shoreline and were also moshing bloody in the pit.

very cool club at the time. Have not been back since.

Located in the Lower Haight in San Francisco yet walkable from Hayes St. It's Definitely a locals hang out, which I enjoy, plenty of televisions for the sports fanatics and a full bar and a variety of beers on tap.
On a Saturday evening at 6:30 pm it was standing room only and a room filled with friends meeting friends.
We particularly enjoyed the salmon tacos and the chipotle chicken sandwich. Check it out... Haight and Filmore Streets it you are looking for a neighborhood friendly bar.

I was there many times during 1992 and 1993 and I always had the best time in my life usually on Sundays early morning. I miss that great club.
