I just walk and it is practical for connecting many neighborhoods. Part of the street has grand architecture, part is boring. If you enjoy environments with lots color, you will most certainly enjoy this space. Lovely atmosphere. Great selection of incense, palo santo etc. The jewelry is so different from what you see around.

The food was always excellent although it could get extremely busy. We ate lots of items from the menu and all were consistently good. Homeless are everywhere but I suppose this is part of the San Francisco experience.
