The tour was amazing! I think it is well priced and well organized. I wish we had more time for lunch and more time at the first winery, though! The tour guide was amazingly sweet, and it was an unexpected, nice surprise that there was tour guiding on our way out from SF!

The group in the bus was also very very sweet, and the atmosphere of day drinking amongst the bus group was definitely festive and one to remember.

It is a pricey experience, but for everything that’s included I think it’s worth spending that much! To make it less pricey, I wish I would’ve packed lunch and snacks :)

Great day! Well worth the money. Enjoyed each wine tasting. Great lunch spot. Muir Woods was beautiful. Maybe could have a little more time at Muir Woods but there was ample time to get a good overview and walk around. Our guide was nice and very helpful. Loved the hotel pick up.

I can’t imagine this tour without Robin , he was a great tour guide and so much fun. Punctual pickup time and the wineries we visited are so charming except for the Peter Cellars one I just felt he wasn’t so welcoming but wine was great!
Oxbow market was awesome , the variety of food they have is so good.
This tour is highly recommended and value for money if you wanna visit both Napa and Sonoma and just spend a day outside San Francisco because it ends at 4 pm so you have the evening to spend in San Francisco not waste the whole day.

This excursion gave us an opportunity to taste some great Californian wines without having to worry about who was driving - and it’s not often you have a legitimate excuse to start drinking wine at 10:30am! Each of the 3 wineries we stopped at had their own individual characters and some excellent wines to try. We also had a stopover for lunch at the charming town of Sonoma. However, the best part of this trip was our guide, Anthony. He was friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the day extra special.

We had a great time! Lauren, our guide, was knowledgeable and fun. We loved learning about the local culture, sampling all of the food (it was a lot of food!) from the various restaurants and bakeries, and really enjoyed the tea house at the end of the tour. We definitely recommend this experience.

Ron cur tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and pointed out a lot on our Journey. Muir Woods was gorgeous! The first winery was not great. The second one was wonderful. Timing was good for all of the activities. There were about 11people so a nice group

Loved the variation of the day and Lonny, our driver/tour guide, was awesome! Shared lots of great tips, was readily available...showed us some hot spots in the town. He definitely made it a stress free and fun day!

I highly recommend Best Bay Area Tours, and the trip to Yosemite and the Redwood/Kendall-Jackson Winery. I signed up for the Yosemite tour because I’d had such a positive experience with their Sonoma 4-Course Winery Lunch and Giant Redwoods tour. Just like the first, this tour was kept small with only about a dozen people. Phil was our outstanding guide for both tours, and I would strongly recommend asking for him if you can. He’s an absolute natural at his job, and is very personable, well informed, and professional. He took the time to get to know each of us. On both tours, Phil identified key sites in San Francisco, on the way to Yosemite and in the park. In each case he gave us the historical significance and context of the area. The Kendal-Jackson experience was excellent, and came as a surprise. I love wine but haven’t always loved the Kendal-Jackson wines I find in the store, but their on-site selection was exceptional. The pairing meal was delicious, the portions significant and the wines paired beautifully with the meal. The chef was very accommodating for those with special dietary needs. As with the Armstrong Redwood Forest, Phil explained the historical background and significance of Yosemite. While exploring the park we were given time to sightsee and take pictures. Telescopes were provided at El Capitan so that we could observe the mountain climbers. We were never rushed. If you would like a memorable and professional experience, this is the company to use. Lonnie was our driver for our Napa Wine Tour with the wife, kids, and cousins from out of country. Lonnie was hands down the friendliest and most professional driver we could have asked for and was on time (actually early) for every one of our pickups. If you use this service, ask for Lonnie, he was the best!

Really enjoyable tour, the food was lovely - especially those arancini's! And the host went out of her way to make the whole thing pleasurable and interesting, would highly recommend one of these tours to enjoy the side of the city you wouldn't see as a tourist.

Excellent tour, Brian was our guide. He was extremely engaging and knowledgeable about the areas we were walking. His knowledge and all the stops we made exceeded our expectations for our trip. Wish we took more photos but we were in the moment. I highly recommend this tour for those who are interested in learning the history of Chinatown especially and the opportunity to try a lot of different foods and desserts…and the tea house was AMAZING! The tour ended in the “Little Italy,” area and we enjoyed the pizza we had at the restaurant we were taken too so much, (Mona Lisa Restaurant), that we ended up going back a few hours later for a great dinner. We would have loved to go back to some of the restaurants we were able to try during the Chinatown tour, but in a response to COVID the restaurants close early (by 6). Just an FYI FSA.

This was my second Secret Food Tour. The first one was awesome and amazingly enough this tour in the Mission District in San Francisco surpassed the first. Our guide Mark had a deep culinary background as well as personal history with the Mission District and was the perfect guide. Every aspect of the tour was great but I think the piece that set it apart was the mingling of the food with the history and cultural background of the street art.

This was a lovely event. Did it on a Sunday, and the weather was nice, no fog, no clouds.

The food was quite good actually, better than I was expecting. Look a good Sunday brunch at a fine resort. Small carving station, hot and cold dishes.

    Bottomless mimosas. :)

They had both a nice interior section where the food and DJ was.

Plus alot of outdoor walking & sitting areas.

Left pier 3, north up on the south side of alcatraz, west under the golden gate bridge, back under the bridge heading east, along the north side of alcatraz.

Then heading south under the bay bridge, then back north to dock at the pier.

I found this to be an excellent value at about $100/person plus tip. Given the bottomless mimosas and decent food. Seems like it was about 2 hours long.

    Would absolutely do it again.
