- Sharkin5 contributionsOur tour guide Jon was excellent. Great level of excitement as he shared information about the North End and all the stops we made along the way.
The food selections were perfect. The timing for each spot and the amount of food was excellent.
From clam chowder to a mini lobster roll ( best lobster ever) to pumpkin tortellini to some roasted nuts and prosciutto and provolone to finally a mini cannoli, it was so tasty!
I would highly recommend this tour company Jon. The tour started at 11:00 and went to 2:00. Perfect amount of timed walking through the streets on the North End.
Jon was truly an key piece of this trip. We enjoyed how he made sure to spend time with all the members of the tour. We both had no expectations for the class and were definitely slightly nervous as we are not the best of chefs ourselves. Chef John Peredina was the absolute best, and made everyone feel comfortable while hosting the class. Not only was he extremely intellectual in his craft, but he was thoroughly entertaining and looked to include everyone in demos during the class. If you’d like to learn some new things about cooking in general, make various types of fresh pasta while listening to 60s/70s soul music jams, all while drinking your choice in beer/wine/soda…this place is for you!
