- T PChicago, IL1,552 contributionsVery enjoyable, funny, entertaining and got the FULL audience involved. It can be loud, with flashing lights. It is too bad they will not allow pictures to be taken.Written February 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Northern_Traveler00California78,109 contributionsBut I am sure it will have another name next year. Good venue for a show, we enjoyed John Fogerty from row U in the middle. Floor is flat but stage is high enough you can see the artists from that far. Not sure how good UU would be, though.
Tickets on phone app only was mildly concerning for us older folk but we got them to work.Written August 21, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GraceS5353Boston, MA37 contributionsI went to see Shear Madness with my husband and 16 year old daughter. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors were fantastic, and even seemed to surprised each other with how hilarous the ad libbing was. It’s a small theater, but it makes the stage very easy to see. The audience interaction was fun, and it ranged from jokes about audience members to audience members making fun of characters (nothing with malicious intent). Although it is targeted to adult audiences, my daughter was laughing a lot and said she enjoyed the show. There were kids as young as about 12 in our showing; kids younger than 12 probably wouldn’t understand/have fun. The only shame was how empty our showing was. The actors deserved a full theater. Overall, I recommend it if you have spare time in Boston!Written March 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bekahchicaBaltimore, MD251 contributionsSpeakEasy stage is dedicated to bringing shows fresh from Broadway to Boston with their own twist. I saw their production of POTUS which was brilliantly acted with lots of jaw-dropping details that made the show feel brand new. Everyone I interacted with was so kind - can't wait to come back. Their entire season lineup is phenomenal.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- CCSDSan Diego, CA3 contributionsSaw BPO in Jordan Hall, a beautiful, historic hall. All Beethoven program in the 40th year of the orchestra. Pre-concert talk was great for us laypeople. The energy and joy of the performance was extremely memorable. Great experience for everyone - you don’t have to be a classical music expert to have a great time.Written February 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Monroe JPasadena, MD48 contributionsWhen I was in Boston ,I stopped in to catch some comedy ...And let me tell you the place had a bad atmosphere ,The night after I was here the owner got angry at the comedians and stopped the show ,Offered the 4 paying customers refunds ,What club does this?I left because of the unfunny comedians and the owners bad attitude. When going to comedy shows I don't want some sexist club owner pushing their own agenda on paying customers ,I want comedy .Written November 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
